Get Shredded!
Holy Shit!!!

Been taking AAS for 20yrs on and off and once in a while i get a bad shot but took one friday morning and that afternoon onwards and its absolutely killing me. VG shot. Not sure if the oil got near my sciatic nerve or what.

I know i have to just give it time but is there any remedies to relieve the pain or anything to help slightly speed up the recovery process. Ive been limping for the past few days and the only relief is if i lay down and just prop my lef on a pillow.

Thanks fellas

If it was true VG, it should be nowhere near your sciatic. Ice and ibuprofen. Red (or green) kratom if you have it. You can massage it, but there is a chance that will make it worse before it gets better. Danged if you do, danged if you don't.

I’ve had a few experiences with agonizing shots from hell. Like multi said though, vg injections shouldn’t come anywhere even remotely close to the sciatic nerve. Impossible unless you’re using. 5” needle and sticking it through your pelvis bone.

I am the only person I’ve ever heard of actually messing up their sciatic nerve from an injection. And that happened from going to far in towards my butt crack and too low, while using a 1.5” needle. Hit my piriformis muscle, which the sciatic nerve runs through. The pain was pretty intense. Convinced I had to go to the hospital a couple times.

In this scenario I didn’t actually hit my nerve but rather injected into the muscle that the nerve runs through, aggravating the nerve big time. If you somehow managed to aggravate a muscle that is pinching your nerve, you will know. Sciatic nerve pain is just so distinguishable from other PIP. It’s like an agonizing achey feeling and you can feel it from your ass cheek all the way down to behind your knee.

Does that sound like your pain at all? From the ass to the knee? Agony in the back of your leg/hammy area?

If it is sciatic nerve pain then I’m gonna let you in on the little secrete that saved my ass (literally) EXCEDRIN.

All the other pain meds in the world didn’t even touch the pain. I tried everything: ibprofen, tynelol, naproxen, Even tried tramadol with zero relief…Then I accidentally took excedrin. I took it for a headache and to my surprise about half an hour later the nerve pain started to drastically ease up. I went from agony to almost completely comfortable just like that.

Hopefully it’s not sciatic pain pip because that sucks ass and took me almost 8 weeks to heal. But if it is hopefully the excedrin helps you as much as it helps me. Let me know what happens bro best of luck

Maybe it wasn't VG but I do injections so often i take them for granted and wasn't paying close attention. But yes all i know is that it feels like someone took baseball bat to the side of my leg/ass and the pain is also running down my hammy. Not super far down but enough so i think i did what you had done by somehow aggravating the muscle which is then pinching the nerve.

Had some Excedrin here so just took 2 pills. Hoping it relives some of the pain. I know I have to give it time....hoping it goes away soon.

Thanks for the advice and glad to know I'm not the only one in the same boat.

Ill keep you posted.

OP a year ago I had your same story. VG… something happened and I was FUCKED UP. I was a disaster for close to 5 days… I know some people say ice and some say never a heating pad. Well the ice wasn’t doing anything for me and I put the heat pack on it and I’m not sure but I believe it helped. A couple days later I was good enough to walk…

Just like you I’ve been a pin cushion for 24 years and I’ve had a couple bad shots but this one was the winner. Ibuprofen like multi said helped… that and time brother.

feel better amigo and good luck

If you have the energy, alternating ice and heat acts to "pump" things out. A couple hours of rotating every few (3-5) minutes. Easy if you have things like a toe infection or something. Harder if it is something that can't be "dipped".

Bad shots are something I have been writing about for the last 15 years.

Excedrin is the wrong drug. Jump on ibuprofen at 6-800mgs E6hours and if you can, go buy the gel capsules, not the tablets. Its superior.

Increase water intake

Take a hot shower and place it on the area.

I think what people forget is that an injection of oil can have secondary effects. Just like a hemotoma or a muscle tear can.

I have seen hamstring tears that have no bruising except the bruising and bleeding occurs in the feet. This is forensics 101.

Gravity can allow the "appearance" to travel to body parts that are not injured at all. They can swell. The blood can pool there.

Your shot may very well be pressing on nerves, or swollen in one area that is putting pressure on the sciatica, which can run down your leg all the way into your toes. This is why getting the swelling down is most important.

Watch for streaking at the site of injection. This is a tell tale sign of infection.

In the meantime rest the area and do not inject anything into that glute again for several months. A preabcess will likely form to protect the issue you have going on. When you re-inject into that area, it can allow bacteria, blood etc, to now leave the pre abcess area and worse case enter the blood stream

Infections are rare but not fun at all and can end you up in the ER.

This should go away on it's own if you follow basic protocol

Feel better.

I hit my vg the other day and did not pay enough attention. I think I hit the facia at the rear of the muscle. I pumped in 1 mil of a 1.5 shot and felt like the muscle was full. Went to my knees.

I had some shots like this from one specific well known and trusted brands. I came to the determination that my body simply didn't like that particular oil/brand sadly.

Goodluck! Ibuprofen is definitely a must since it's an anti inflammatory

First day leg/ass if feeling much much better. Think the inflammation went down dramatically which is causing me much less pain.

Seems like sometimes you never know with a shot.

It was painless like any other shot and I didn't feel the effects of it till later that night next day.

Thanks for all the advice fellas

Hell ya bro good to hear. You’re lucky or I’m just unlucky. But my nerve pain had me on my ass for 8 weeks straight. I started to think i permanently fucked my shit up, actually my wife. Last time I let her stick something in my ass without showing her where it goes first….
