Just my 2 cents. I'd see a doctor that knows your history for that. The wrong kind can mess you up. There are several different kinds that all do different things. ARB's, Ace Inhibitors, Beta Blockers etc.I need recommendations on BP meds. Im taking telesmartin, but the congestion is killing me. Im taking 20mg at night. Other than congestion I love it.
Def going to talk to my Dr but I like to be informed before I go. I dont want him to give me something that isn't tolerated well.Just my 2 cents. I'd see a doctor that knows your history for that. Only way to know is to try it. ARB's are the most prescribed and used. Telmisartan, Valsartan, Losartan etc. He won't give you anything bad.Def going to talk to my Dr but I like to be informed before I go. I dont want him to give me something that isn't tolerated well.
If you just want general background information about a class of medications I would ask ai. state your medical history, body stats, lifestyle and then ask it to discuss each kind of medication in that scenario. Only caveat is some people are uncomfortable putting personal information into ai. but then you could go to your doctor with that knowledge at leastDef going to talk to my Dr but I like to be informed before I go. Not trying to insult your intelligence but you know Ezetimibe is for cholesterol right?I cannot speak for you.
I have on hand Telmisartan, Nebivolol and Ezetimibe on hand and I run them all on cycle.
I’m on Valsartan now and don’t do shit for me, before this I was on carvidilol and that didn’t do anythingOnly way to know is to try it. ARB's are the most prescribed and used. Telmisartan, Valsartan, Losartan etc. He won't give you anything bad.
I'm not a doctor so I can't tell you what to take but what you've described is an ER visit in my opinion. I wouldn't be waiting for anything. Your life could be in the balance here because of an underlying condition like plaque buildup for example. Why you're not already there I don't understand at all.I’m on Valsartan now and don’t do shit for me, before this I was on carvidilol and that didn’t do anything
Telimisartan wouldn’t even budge my bp. Even at 160mg a day. lol. Switched to olmisartan 25mg..It kinda worked but my doctor didn’t like how it raised some other blood markers so switched to 5mg amlodipine. Bp is perfect now.I would start with an -artan. Telemisartan is the best one.
If that doesn’t work well enough, try an -ipine. Amlodipine is the best.
I stack Amlodipine and Telemisartan and I have perfect BP. -artans and -ipines stack well.
The -opril’s are basically Gen 1s of Gen 2 -artans. No really good reason to use it unless for some reason you get it prescribed by a Doc for a specific reason. Don’t stack these with -artans, it’s redundant.
The -olols work for some people and are also supposed to help lower resting heart rate. I wasn’t a fan when I tried it, felt like it hurt my cardio endurance
How wild! What does your Doc say is right? I could live with the 132/65. Which one is considered correct?Something to consider that I learned yesterday for the first time in my life... I've had high BP forever thanks Mom and Dad..... Yesterday I went for a BP check my right arm was 132/65 my left was 152/78... The 2nd check was right arm 130/60 left was 144/67.... So check both arms not only one side... I typically only checked my left side only...
