I've trained in a gym owned and ran by a former NFL player and we had guys come in all the time either training for the combine, to catch on with another team/contract or just visit. I got to train with and know a lot of them and I didn't find to many who were egotistical or pampered, just guys who worked hard, a lot harder then I would imagine most here have worked to get where they are at. I had not smoked weed in 15 years up until the second year of COVID. It did mello me but I did not like the brakes it put on my processing and memory. So I stopped. Plus riding the moldy metro for 7 years fucked up my lungs so weed is not the friend of my lungs. Too many downsides now-a-days. It is unfortunate because I do like the calming effect. Etibles... forget it. I turn into space monkey coma-boy. no basically, I drink a very select set of vinyards Italian wine to wind down on Friday and Saturday. I try to limit intake to 5 total standard servings total. Now if we see a financial markets collapse and CBDC rollout then fuck-it. Weed is going into my summer garden and I am moving to Mexico. I speak a fair amount of Italian so Spanish should be doable.

You have to do a little experimenting to find a user friendly strain and start small. I agree, smoking sucks, it's hard on my lungs too. I vape flower, there's no smoke, no aerosol like cartridges, and it's not as strong. You essentially are just heating the flower until the THCA converts to THC and you get a nice terpine flavor.

As far as wine? I've had some of the finest in the world, truly my soft spot of booze. There's nothing wrong with moderate alcohol use, it's just not on the table for me anymore.
