Comments: Solid leg day. Kept it conservative. Leg extensions back at 80 lbs. Breaks between sets shorter. I usually go about 60-90 seconds bw sets. This was 60 or fewer. Squats still improving. No back involvement.

Equipment:
Step Bench

Basic moves:
Push ups (1 hand on step 1 hand on floor)
Half burpees (hands on end of step)
Scissors

Drill:


  1. Slalom push up R
  2. Slalom push up L
  3. Half Burpees
  4. Run down Green Mile
  5. Scissors
  6. Run back

Instructions: Inverted pyramid starting at 20 reps on each move down to 1. On push ups, 1 push up on R then 1 on L = 1. So first round it's like 40 push ups and so on down.

Comments: Finished in 49:44 today. Already see conditioning improvement with this drill.

TODAY is the end of 6 weeks!! HALF WAY THROUGH!! I'll weigh tomorrow. Appear leaner and more muscular. Very excited about progress made.
 
Hey BB, will you give us an idea of what your diet looks like? Curious....

Sure! It's not changed in content, just quantity. I eat A LOT!

Day starts at 3:35 am > 9:45/10 pm...plenty of time to eat.

2.0 lbs of Turkey or Beef per day (uncooked value)
2.5 oz oatmeal (raw weight)
5 oz egg whites
7-9 scoops of Protein Powder (30 Grams per scoop)
2 small or 1 large avocado
I eat about 300 calories from WASA Light Crackers
3 cups broccoli

Freebies: Salsa & Vanilla Stevia

That's it. I don't go too hungry. I tend to eat more at night. Oatmeal w egg whites is at 10 am. Has been that way for YEARS. I've been eating this diet for years. Just much smaller quantities. When it gets colder I eat a lot of zucchini and squash.
 
Still the crackers and oats only comes out to about 127.5 grams of carbs, so with a few more crackers...... 150g maybe, yeah I guess that's enough to not feel the pains of low low carbs.... I would feel it, I know that! Rock On Bar_Belle!

Tried the 40's on Arnold Press for Sh*** & Giggles. I did them pretty well. Left shoulder was obviously weaker. 40's are out there waiting for me to get a little stronger. I remember not being able to move 35's from start position. Military @ 115 is stronger! So pleased. Steady progress.

Holy crap. So with your carbs on the low side where does that leave your total cals on an average? Near 4k no?

Could be. I don't focus on numbers. I don't count. I look at what my body is doing. Remember, this intake level is for this run. Seems to be what's needed ;)

  5. 20 sec high
  6. 10 sec rest
  7. 20 sec high
  8. 10 sec rest
  9. 1:15 break >> 25 presses 3 pps

Comments:
Decided to beast it some more w legs. I did 3 pps for all 11 sets bw tabatas. Felt strong. Tuesday bike cardio I'll dial it back to 1 or 2 pps as to not trash Wednesday legs or the remainder of the week. <See, I can be taught>

Chest in da morn'! Oh yeah....one more thing, today I weighed. 147 lbs. 2 pounds under my start weight and up 1 pound from 3 weeks ago...hmmmm. My clothes are too small in the shoulders/chest/and back....Butt and quads are bigger. I think I'm moving towards my goal of decreased BF and increased muscle mass. We'll know in 6 weeks. Stay tuned....

40's and 115. Bad Ass!!! Hope I could say the same about the above statement.
 
I'm Curious George..has Tren started?? If so...any reaction...feeling different??? Ace generally hits me hard and fast...very Alpha feel
