Cardio Back 1 (Supersets w no breaks)
(6 sets of 16 reps superset w 6 flys)

Seated Row -100 lbs
Rear High Pulls - 50 lbs
Straight Arm Pulldowns - 60 lbs
Overhead Lat Pulldown 85 lbs
Underhand Lat Pulldown 100 lbs *
DB for superset 20 lbs



Comments: *dropped weight on 3rd set to 85 lbs. The 20 lbs DBs seemed heavier. So interesting how each week of back cardio varies in strong points and challenges. I love this cardio bc it's the shortest but I work my a** off for the time I'm doing it.


Tomorrow is back. Will rest well until then.

Comments: Really pleased w today's training. Everything felt symmetrical. Reps, fatigue. Did first 2 sets of underhand pull down at lower weight. Residual fatigue from previous exercise. Sneaky how it all works together.


NOTE: One man's PR is another man's warm up. Train in your lane.
 
I have to say I have never seen a program like you are doing. The pre exhaust cardio with weights and movements the day before the actual weight training. Another method to add to the memory banks. Continued great work bar_belle :)!

Comments: UNCLE! I give. Tomorrow will be a leg day where I am in the box. I had an idea (for those of you old enough to remember, think "I Love Lucy" kind of idea). Bumping plates to 3 pps was not so smooth before legs tomorrow. It was all cool Sunday when I did it. Not so much Tuesday. I already ache. I am one STUBBORN (translate stupid) woman sometimes. Well, no pity train for me. Learn the lesson and move on.

Off to take ibuprofen...see you in the dark and earlies....

Wednesday Shoulder Cardio

Last week's Comments: Good cardio session. My whole body is sore. Ready for bed soon, so this is a short entry :) Shoulders2 at dawn.

Today's Comments: Fantastic cardio session. My whole body is sore. Ready for bed soon... My time was the best ever, my effort was the best ever, as well. HOWEVER, of note is that I am tired. Still experiencing consequences of my choice to push on bike cardio (extra plates on leg press). When I follow the directions of my trainer, this "tired" doesn't happen. It occurs when I try to "improve" upon what I'm told to do.

Shoulders2 at dawn. I work half day tomorrow. A little more of a relaxed schedule in afternoon. :)



 
I can understand why your sore. I'm sore from reading the intensity of your log. As a matter of fact I think I just sprained my eye sockets!!

LAB WORK: Came back good. LFT's up a little. Not surprising nor worrisome. Clean bill o' health and big bill o' health insurance.
