So what's going to be the standard ? Gold?

I think folks will exit the US Dollar and go towards the Yuan and even the Ruble or Rupee. This will be a short term move as most Countries will create a CBDC. Gold and Silver are real money but the window for barter will likely be short lived. If I had to create a timeline after the collapse of the US currency, I would think cash in your pocket and gold and silver will be viable for maybe 1-2 months. Metals will be better as people figure out cash is useless.

I would go to the store today and buy preps if you haven't already. Inflation is going to increase which means goods purchased in coming months are going to cost more.
