Here is some game changing info that many people might not know about, I've been aware of it for some time, but it wasn't until recently (this year) I seen this video from The Doc talking about liver detox and ridding fatty liver, validating the old claims..It was refreshing to hear this and put into better words.

Liver cocktail - choline and inositol (3,000 mg per day of each) and L-methionine (1,500 mg per day).. Every 3 months for fatty liver detox or when running orals..

Listen from 4:09 to 9:20
It's well worth listing too and some of the best info I've heard to date that bonafies this old cocktail that has been recommended over the years..

I had elevated ast and alt on my last blood test and I'm currently 2 weeks deep on this protocol. Will pull bloods after my 30 days and report back my results. Looking forward to see how well it works

I've watched this video and still have questions. So if someone is already running daily tudca/nac/etc...how beneficial is it to do this every 3 months as he mentioned? I know he said "milk thistle" and I agree that it is not a great liver protector. Better than nothing, yes. But I'm just wondering if anyone has experience using this protocol as a detox in addition to already running serious liver protection? And what did you see?

I was hospitalized from my liver values being skyrocketed and yellowish tint in my eyes. One of the nurses in the ER recommended these two supplements to me along with a similar protocol. My liver values were back to normal by my follow up appointment a week later. Mind you, I was hospitalized with severe stomach pains, yellowish eye color, dark orange pee, couldn’t eat, couldn’t drink and I literally felt like I was dying. 3 days after coming home I felt perfect. Blood draw a few days after that and my liver values were perfect. I won’t use anything else. At the time, I was using tudca and nac when I went to the hospital.

@sherk @vision et all

So would you recommend running choline/inositol *instead* of tudca/nac or in addition to it? I'm wondering if it would work better as a daily maintenance instead of a once in awhile cleanse?

So I immediately bought this when it was posted and ran it for 2 months, I always have high Alkaline phos on my labs and thought maybe a liver detox would work. I also cut out all sodas and only drank some coffee and just water thru the day, and my alkaline is still wickid high on my labs last week.

For fatty liver try apple cider vinegar 1 to 2 tbs a day. It's gonna take quite awhile to detox the liver but has been proven to work. I've been doing it for 10 months now. Not the greatest taste lol

Try the NAC/Tudca on a daily basis and
choline and inositol a couple runs per year .Would seem that one is a flush and other to maintain - my 2 cents-Luck-OD

Yeah, it was a tad confusing in the video, because the doc almost made it sound like guys were using it as part of daily supplements.

This right here,.

It wouldn't hurt to not have the combination, run the detox a couple times a year and you can also run continuous the tud/nac..

ok so there are my labs from last week, I was on tudca daily till I saw this video and tried it out, I also quiet drinking alcohol for the summer and sodas as well just water and some coffee in the mornings and my Alkaline phos remained sky high, its possibly a side effect from prescribed medication, I pointed it out to my doctor several times and each time he says its fine

Thanks Vision!!!! My AST, ALT have been a little out of range for a couple years. After 2 weeks of this protocol they were in middle normal. Thank you!

it is a very good possibility that your prescribed medication is doing that because I know a lot of doctors are aware of that when their patients are on certain medications .
If your doctor did not seem too concerned about it then I wouldn't stress it.. I don't think we can always get things into the narrow range that we want, but I believe we can get things pretty damn close into respectable ranges..

For those that have ran this, have you felt any "weirdness" while doing it? Since I started, I've been having some discomfort from the old liver (at least, that's where it feels kind of odd) and some dizzy spells. And when I say dizzy, I mean, "oh crap, am i about to pass out?" dizzy. And this is literally the only change in my regimen.

Im on week 3 of this protocol. On another note I was doing 3iu's of GH every night with no sides. Last week I started get numbness and hand pain. So this week I took 2 days off of GH and for sure had some dizzy spells when standing up. I thought it might have been from stopping the GH? Not sure now? Im also wondering if cleaning out my liver is making the GH work better? Who freaking knows LOL! All I know is my AST/ALT are in range.

I haven't heard of any dizzy spells from dropping (or using) gh. Numbness and hand pain are pretty common with gh.
