Get Shredded!
I run a Geissele super duty 11.5 kitted with a eotech holographic, Surefire Rc2 suppressor, mag pul vertical foregrip, mag pul front and rear iron sights, single point sling and a surefire m600 flashlight.

I have other play around guns but a Geissele super duty is the best made AR on the market in my opinion and that’s the reason they are used by special forces.

As far as training goes, I try to train in full kit a couple times a month (when the snow melts). I’ll go to the range during the winter but you look a little psycho wearing a plate carrier and camis at a range so I won’t wear any gear, I wouldn’t consider that as training. 😂

In my state an assault weapon ban is going to pass any week now. Any semi automatic rifle/shotgun under 30 inches that is magazine loaded will be illegal. My advice to you guys is to spend the money now because these politicians are coming for everything. The 2nd amendment no longer protects your freedom, we’re stuck here buying a lifetimes amount of guns in 3 weeks. They aren’t trying to protect the public they’re trying to protect themselves, be ready and most importantly be capable.

Considering the caliber those sks's can be pretty damn accurate especially with open sights. I absolutely love mine. Bullpuped one also.

My firearm “Charlene” was assigned rifle when born, but I was shocked to find out that she identifies as an SBR later in life. I’ve come to respectfully accept her wishes.

I hate having to pay the tax stamp and wait for her dreams to come true, but since this is my 500th post I’ll look for other things to keep me occupied in the meantime!

I have a Sig SWAT 556 butnever use it. In fact it’s at a buddy’s house on the East Coast. Shoots nice but heavy AF.
My favorite to shoot is my DD pimped out Bushmaster in 6.8SPC. But it’s too expensive to shoot until the US picks it up for the military.
I have a few others. A DPMS lower/RRA upper A3 that was like the one I had on deployment. (The GI one I was issued was made by FN)
I built a 300Blackout pistolbut haven’t shot it yet. I think I have a few stripped lowers in the safe too.
Fun guns for people who tinker around with shit.
My first was a Colt 7.62x39 upper with a DPMS lower. Couldn’t get good mags for it back in 1998 so I sold it. Wish I hadn’t…just like every gun I have sold.

Ha…back in ‘98 I was buying my mags from some of your brethren in arms! That’s also when I learned about cosmoline!

My thoughts were as a slung secondary or for CQB where I don’t care about over penetration, just making a big, heavy hole. This is using my zombie scenario plan/protocol/contingency.

AR-15
Versatile and effective, lower ammo weight means more to carry. Lugging around a combat load of six mags plus the loaded rifle is a bitch in 5.56. I can’t imagine the difference in 7.62 being enjoyable. I think that’s why I love 6.8 SPC. Like a .270 which is a significantly heavier round ballistically but not too much in overally carry size and weight.
