I'm honestly not sure. What I am sure about is I don't trust the government or NASA.

The US Navy has a weapon called a Railgun, its a rod, propelled by magnetic force. It uses a laser to target objects up to 100 miles away.

According to the globe model, at 100 miles away, there would be 666ft of curvature, making laser targeting impossible, unless the railgun, and the laser itself was targeting from a height well over 666ft above sea level, which it is not.

There are many other examples of how the globe model is impossible based on the laws of physics.

Word of God, or science... its not a ball.

Aircraft carriers are the tallest US Navy vessels.... USS Gerald R. Ford: The USS Gerald R. Ford is 250 ft (76 m) tall. Even if that railgun was mounted on the roof of the top level, that would put 416ft of curvature in the way of that targeting laser.

Atmospheric refraction bends light

The earth is round, the circumference was first estimated by Eratosthenes of Cyrene and he was within 1% in like 176 BC.

Look, some of the political shit is just me being a smart ass, but people who believe the earth is flat, are flat out stupid.

Ask Elon Musk and then learn about parabolic curvature and its effect on a projectile. A rail gun may be able to shoot X amount of distance but it has to be elevated to strike its target due to gravity.

If you want to argue gravity your just stupid.

A railgun does not actively compensate for the curvature of the Earth; instead, its design is primarily focused on achieving high projectile velocity, which allows the projectile to travel a relatively straight path over long distances, minimizing the impact of Earth's curvature within its effective range, much like a bullet fired from a rifle.

Key points to consider:

  • High Velocity:
Due to its electromagnetic acceleration mechanism, a railgun can launch projectiles at extremely high speeds, meaning the projectile will cover significant distances in a short time, limiting the effect of Earth's curvature during flight.
  • Trajectory Calculation:
While not actively compensating for curvature, the firing system can still incorporate calculations based on the target's distance and Earth's curvature to adjust the initial projectile angle slightly for optimal accuracy.
  • Range Limitations:
Even with high velocity, the curvature of the Earth becomes increasingly significant at very long ranges, meaning a railgun's effective range would still be limited by the Earth's curvature.

yea there is a thing called gravity. lots of sciencey based things. like i know i'm asking for an ass beating just posting into this but we still have flat earthers advocating that this is really a thing these days?

Some people are full blown conspiracy theorist. Doesn’t matter what it is, they are in.

Shits insane lol flat earth? I mean what in the fuck lol. Why? Round, flat. Oval, square who gives a fuck. Either way I still drive on this drit ball to work everyday. Just one more thing to argue about that doesn't matter at all.

Earth is flat and NASA exists to funnel taxpayer money to fund other agendas. You space heads are too brainwashed to believe it though. We’ve never been to the moon, we’ve never been in orbit FFS. The entire lunar program funded CIA operations in southeastern Asia. Religion got fucked by “science” and instead of believing preachers you now believe “scientists”. Aliens don’t exist. They were made up to further push the science agenda as a way to control the population. And you science geeks have no right to complain about “climate change”. Science created that fairy tail to siphon more of our money away from us.

not a flat earther but you just completely strawmanned his argument. hes saying you cant point a laser at something you cant see. not that you have to lob the projectile
