alright so i see alot of people asking quiestions and stuff. but then theres them guys who always gotta put them newbies down. yea im new here but aint new to the life style so im not talking about me. but the new kids trying to get into this. yall talk down on them and talk shit but and probably scaring the kids or something and not wanting them to come back. arent we all suppose to be here for eachother and help grow the community?! thanks for letting me rant.

This is a forum full of strangers. Now once you’ve been here for awhile and make friends with people you will find people are really cool and I have a lot of friends here now. If you come on any forum with some questions from far left field you have to expect the answers to reflect that. The modern age of thin skin and the world owes you something is sad and doesn’t last long in most places. If people have a sense of humor and thick skin they will do fine here, if not it probably isn’t the place for them anyways. So it’s up to those people to decide if they fit in here, It’s not the opposite. So I wouldn’t say it’s annoying at all 🤷🏻‍♂️

Actually. Most of what your referring to is guys who’ve made mistakes trying to warn younger needle virgins about those mistakes so they can navigate this lifestyle with less setbacks.

The negativity originates out of the reaction the newbies typically have wherein they feel insulted or just totally brush off all the advice they get.

Maybe there are a few outliers that want to put the newbies through an initiation but mostly it’s just younger man’s ego getting the best of him.

It was a good perspective. Kinda goes great with my theory. Sensitive newbies won’t take advice and then can’t handle the shit posting that’s sure to follow.

Hell alotta vets that I learned from on here don’t even try to help newbies anymore cuz of the fact that they usually don’t take the advice and come back the next week with a “I got an infection, my dick is broke, my nipples are 10 feet long or i upped my tren dose and woke up in the middle of a dairy farm and there’s blood everywhere and my boner won’t go down and someone’s shooting at me” thread posted.

But I hear ya. I try to help, without be condescending, when I can. Really… as far as cycling in your 20’s….. if I could do it over again I woulda stayed natural until my late 30’s. If I live to be 70 years old that’s almost 50 years of fuckin pinning. And since I never competed…. and never got baseline bloods… I just feel like I’d have been alright naturally for at least another decade. I started pinning at 23 years old

Anywho. I get tired of being a pin cushion and as life gets more complex it’s just a pain in the ass. Literally.

There’s millions of posts with excellent info on cycles and what to do as well as what not to do. It gets rather repetitive when people want to be spoon fed information when it’s easily found using the search bar. That as well as what’s been said above people don’t want advice they just do the opposite of what people tell them to do.

I see what you’re saying blanco, but the way I look at it, is that as newbies we are guest of an established community. I really only see folks getting gruff with newbs is when newbs feel like being stubborn and pissy.
I think some people in the safety and anonymity of the internet have forgotten how to check their tone when asking for the help of strangers. There is a degree of gate keeping here, and I like it. Talk out of your ass here, and someone is going to call you out. I appreciate that and find it refreshing. 😆

That's just the way we roll here on ASF. For every one 20 year old we talk out of running gear too early, there may be 10 lurking who get that same message. In my book, that's a win-win for all involved

You gotta understand... the guys that have been here a long time see newbie posts several times a day and sometimes the urge to bash is strong. Lol

I fully respect everyone and never put anyone down. Now I disagree many times, but thats what the forum is for. What I see a new person coming on board and wanting all answers repeated and broken down to them when the same questions was asked hundreds of time, so five minutes worth of research and they would have it. Also, some newbies are very disrespectful and respond rudely when they dont like the answer that was given. For example oral only cycle has been beaten to death and they don't want to hear it. I try to help as much, but when I have someone being disrespectful I simply don't comment and move on.

Keep in mind it is not our job to educate everyone here. It is their job to research and educate themselves. At the end again I do try to help and be respectful.

The vast majority on here are very helpful and attempt to steer folks in the right direction. Then you have some that join and talk crap within a day…. ASF community is very helpful and a lot of folks here go above and beyond to help the younger folks, maybe you should read a few thousand of those threads instead of complaining about a few bad comments. A lot of us started at a young age and if we had it to do over would have waited, so why not pass that valuable info on? Will they accept it all the time, no, they will do what they want but it’s the correct answer whether they like it or not. And even after that opinion has been passed on, folks still give advice about going forward. Good luck with your feelings going forward and welcome to the forum🤣

When I started there was no internet and the Bodybuilding mags were full of shit 99.9% of the time. Everything was word of mouth. So we made mistakes. Today you can ask Google your question and receive your answer straight up. So all the youngsters wanting answers without introducing them selves or better yet do you know where I can score some..... without even getting to know the forum and the subsections gets annoying. I was was on this forum dailey for close to 6 months before I joined. I had already checked out almost all of the sponsors that had websites. People need to do there homework first and then ask there questions not the other way around.

So bashing that i understand it. Id help anyone i could but i wouldnt give a youngster any advice on a cycle before having bloodwork done. I just seen one tonight asking which bloodwork he should do prior using gear. I didnt bash nor respond. That is a question easily found by doing some research.
