Advice needed - Test E and Primo cycle

Haven’t been on the forum for roughly 10 yrs (when I did my 1st test E cycle).

30yrs old
178lbs
Bf% 18?
5ft 10in

Planning to due a 400 test E and 200 primo per week cycle for 12 weeks.

I’m posting because I want input on if my bf is low enough to start cycle. Input would be greatly appreciated.

I’ve been doing a cut for the last 5 months and feel that I’m ready.

This is exactly what I’m planning on running, except maybe mast instead of primo. Curious what the OG’s think. Subbed.

Not trying to be a dick, but I’d just run trt. Maybe a tiny bit of primo. You should be able to cut to 12-15%bf without gear. You look to be closer to 20-25% bf in my opinion. How does your diet look?

None taken I want honest input. Wouldn’t TRT shut me down longer term and potentially require me to being on test for the rest of my life?

I was hoping to do a cycle with proper PCT and getting back to normal.

200-250g protein
100-130g carbs
Fats coming from my meats typically
A lot of steak and ground turkey.
No protein shakes or meal replacements.
I have been trying to eat as natural as possible

Do you recall when you did your last test cycle how much you converted test to estrogen? Did you need an AI etc? If you're a slow converter I'd say go for it. If you're a high converter I'd drop some body fat.

I also wouldn't start until training and diet is on point. What's your diet look like? Can you put down some chicken and rice? 😂 I'm a chicken and rice guy. It's essentially my every meal.

Aromatase is the enzyme in our bodies that converts test to estrogen. It is in a lot of places but a major place it's located is in fat cells. You're going to get some anti estrogen effect from the primo so you should not need an AI but you 100% want to have one on hand. What's your plan for pct? I'd have enough primo that you can bump the dose if your estrogen is gets high. I'd strongly encourage pre cycle blood work as well. Pre cycle blood work gets overlooked a lot of times but that's your blueprint. Your base line. You want to know what your natural testosterone level is pre cycle so you know if you properly recovered after your cycle. If you have recovery problems post cycle and you don't know what your baseline test level was then you can't know if you properly recovered.

In regards to estrogen I had a flare up at the end of cycle (week 14 of the 16 week cycle) that resulted in a bb sized lump permanently in the tissue. Had nolva on hand to remedy and shortly after began PCT. All in all I believe I’m a slow converter and I now know to take the itchy nipples more seriously. I have arimidex on hand as well.

Diet is pretty solid I believe but feel free to chime in.
10oz NY Strip steak and 3 eggs for breakfast
1lb ground turkey and 1 cup rice for lunch
8oz chicken and 1 cup quinoa for dinner
Snack of 1 cup cottage cheese or Greek yogurt with granola


Tamoxifen for PCT. This is what I used last cycle and it seemed to get me up and running just fine, but I plan to get bloodwork before and after this time around as that’s something I did not do last time.

Imo theres no such thing as running TRT. Your either blasting or replacing your natural hormones, which is normal.
I have yet to see the “magic” of primo, I definitely like it, but time will tell.
Currently at 7.5 weeks in at 450 test C & 550 primo per week.
No AI needed until last week i threw in some dbol as a pre workout a few days and the nips got itchy.
My last cycle was test/mast/proviron, that one felt really good as well.
I guess all this rambling is to say, i think you look lean enough, run that shit, but i would consider running longer (16 week) and higher primo (400-600)

Hopefully you won't have any estrogen issues this go around with the primo on board. Just go easy with the armidex if you do get itchy nipples. I wouldn't start it at anymore than 0.5mg twice a week but like I mentioned before you could just up the primo, however when the primo leaves your system when you start pct just make sure you got the nolva on tap bc you may get some nasty rebound estrogen.

I didn't do the macros for your diet but I'd imagine that isn't enough food at all. I'd suggest figuring out your macros and calories and based on your maintenance calories make sure you're in a caloric surplus.

I’ll get some additional primo just in case I need to bump it up. I originally was worried about over doing the primo and completely feeling like crap as some other posts have mentioned. Blood work week 4 or 5 is a good idea to properly monitor and make sure that doesn’t happen.

Last time I cycled I gained 30lbs or so. My appetite increased significantly and made it rather easy to maintain a caloric surplus.

My current diet has been maintenance focused calories as I was trying to maintain what little muscle I have while dropping a couple percentage points of bf. Ready to start stuffing my face now 💪

I love primo. It makes me feel so good. As long as diet is in check and you understand gear isn’t a replacement for a caloric deficit, run it. Personally, I’d wait. But up to you!

Imo primo becomes magical above 600mgs. It ain’t tren though lol

I’ll give it some more thought. My first test e cycle was pretty straightforward so I’m not too worried about sides 2nd time around if doing test only. I was mainly considering adding primo because it’s said to have very little sides and I already have it on hand. The anti estrogen properties hopefully help to keep things simple
