I was prescribed modafinil because I get up earlier in the morning, work longer hours and additional shifts. This was prescribed by my sleep medicine doctor who also prescribed my sleep apnea with CPAP machine.

This drug is not nearly as addictive or as much of a upper as Adderall is. It is a perfect balance for me for when I work or workout.

You can easily get Adderall if you talk to doctor and tell them you work night shift as it is commonly used for that purpose.

Cut to the chase. Get some ephedrine, some iodine, and a bit of red phosphorus. Drop some foil in muriatic acid to gas it and blast off.

Born in to the red and white. Y’all are playing a fools game. Watch the world crash around you. Seen it time and again. Always at the cemetery saying goodbye. Fuck tweaking.
That turned dark, quickly lmao

That Movie and TV show , “Limitless” with Bradley Cooper was based on the drug Modafinil. They obviously exaggerated the drug but; it was pretty cool , plus Robert De Niro was in it as well.

I've been a huge fan of using addies for working out for years now. Although I have been legitimately diagnosed with ADD, the doctor would write me a script for 30mg XR pills. I personally prefer the IR pills as my schedule can be inconsistent and even when you think the XR's have run their course, they sneak up on you again which has led to many sleepless nights.

For me, 15 mg IR about 15 min before the gym works great. Sometimes a chew them if I'm looking for a more "upper" sensation. Again, just speaking for myself, but I personally have never liked, and in some cases, haven't even been able to handle certain stimulants. Clen, Albuterol, Yohimbine, any over the counter weight loss pill or pre-workout, ephedrine, basically I don't really tolerate anything found in stimulants other than beta-alanine. However, Adderall has never caused those jittery, speedy, anxiety inducing effects (unless I mix it with something else such as caffeine). I've found that it helps keep me motivated in the gym and gives me the drive to complete every set of every exercise. Often it leads to me resting significantly less between sets without even realizing it.

However, the flip side is that sometimes instead of being focused on the workout and being mentally present for each rep, I start to think about other things I could get done or that I may have to do and it can lead to me rushing through workouts to an extent (although in all honesty, this is not that common and when it does happen, I still feel like I get a better workout in). Another downside is that adderall constricts blood vessels making it harder to obtain a good pump. They also make you sweat like crazy which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but that is a definite side effect.

From my experience, Adderalls work great for cardio and for higher volume workouts with less rest between sets. They are also good for dieting, although, unfortunately this can hurt your gains if you're looking to put on size as it can really kill your appetite. If you do choose to pop addies for your workouts, I would just suggest that you be careful not to become dependent on them. Don't take them before every workout, try not to increase the dosage once you've found the right one, and if you use them for other aspects of your life, keep in mind that they can build up in your system. Also, I think they can lower your testosterone. Just my personal experience anyway.
I also have a script for Adderall and like to take it before working out, feel I can get a great mind/muscle control, never felt I had a hard time with pump but I also use other pump supplements and Cialis if I want to get a crazy pump.

Interesting that you like the XR better, I tried them a few times but hated them, made me feel sluggish and not as alert as the IR.

You’re right, it’s easy to get addicted and rise the dosage but luckily I never did and always end up with left overs. My brother on the other hand always ends up finishing his bottle before it’s time for a new one… 😬

Mixing Cialis in makes a lot of sense. I should have thought of that, I'm sure that would likely negate any constrictions that may occur as a side effect of the Adderall. I'll have to give that a try. Although quick clarification, I prefer the IR, not the XR. I think the XR can be useful, especially if you have a busy day that involves other tasks that you might take Adderall for. In my experience, even the IR can build up in your system and taking a dose every 4 hours or so can leave me (can't speak for anyone else) feeling like a crack head. Most notably is the sweat and the 1,000-yard stare, but again, that's if I'm taking it throughout the day and the dosage builds up. While the XR does avoid that problem, I agree that it can often lead to a midday crash and then another crash later on and causes a fatigue like feeling. But for one task, such as the gym, I definitely prefer the IR.

Honestly, if you don't use addies now, and you're doing fine as is, it's nothing you should add. They can definitely cause anxiety if you take too high a dose, mix them with other uppers, or are not used to it. I personally have used both, and worked out on both, but I wouldn't advise that. Anxiety is far more crippling than ADD, at least in my opinion.

I agree with this, I have no issues with anxiety (on or off addy) but if you can manage life without Addy keep it that way, Addy will not make life easier.

You guys lol. I be feeling like a crack head when I go to the gym and stop and grab my small hot regular coffee lol. I couldn’t imagine going to the gym on adderal 🤣😂

Not laughing at anyone just pointing out I wouldn’t be able to handle it.

Adderall. I split 20s 10mg twice a day, feel really good, never had issues with blood work. Easy to stay focused and make great decisions on it, rather than give into temptation. Puts me in a good mood, and keeps me im control of appetite.
Yeah I'm prescribed it and it has helped with my impulse control immensely. I used to drink and smoke a pack a day. Since Adderall I don't do either and would never look back.

That makes a lot of sense. There have been numerous studies linking untreated ADD to substance abuse issues, self-medicating, and just higher probability of drug use in general. Of course there are some people who go overboard with the Adderall and wind up abusing that drug. Some of those behaviors may have been learned prior to being treated for their ADD, and some people just like drugs. But in short, if your being treated by a reputable doctor that is qualified and knowledgeable about ADD and the meds used to treat it, and stick to the prescribed dosage, it should help with impulse control. Glad to hear it’s working out for you.
