day 3
late post, was dead tired. had an outdoor event all day at work. kinda just stood there most of the time, snuck away to play racketball with some friends for 90 mins. never played it before. afterwards we went rock climbing. grip os noticeably better due to my forearm training. my wrists are also way thicker. diet was completely fucked as anticipated

Not gonna lie. I’m pretty fucking jealous bro. I mean since I was like 15 my diet has always been, as everyone claims here, on point. No soda, no junk food, never had any alcohol, etc. People think I’m bullshitting then when I say I’ve never tasted booze or Mountain Dew or coffee. It’s a long list of shit I’ve never tried.

He needs a critique, if he's going to be the first bodybuilding boxer, he needs the best of the best. Also, I think his coach at his new gym might be a wimp. I don't see him being psyched to be around his coach.. I am always pumped to be near the Dojo Coach, he's solid. Great mentor.

He needs a critique, if he's going to be the first bodybuilding boxer, he needs the best of the best. Also, I think his coach at his new gym might be a wimp. I don't see him being psyched to be around his coach.. I am always pumped to be near the Dojo Coach, he's solid. Great mentor.
I think he's uncoachable tbh. I think there's a method to his madness also. Probably the first dude ever that will get a pro card eating panda, pizza, candy and soda. Pretty sure he put like 100 lbs on his bench in 3 months maybe give powerlifting a run too.

What I'm getting at, yes he has good genetics but I think there's way more too it. I thinking constantly throwing that term around takes away from the extremely hard work he's putting in day after day. We were just talking the other day and I was whining about a 80 minute lift. He was like oh I just left the gym I was there for 2 hours. The dude goes fuckin hard man.

All scheduled around recovery. Knew i wouldnt be able to work out again for a few days, so i hit decent volume on every muscle group so theyd all be recovering in that down time.
*decent volume for me's like 3 sets of a compound and iso for that muscle. not 6 movements for 5 sets for 1 body part like u guys 🤣

today i only did 5 sets total; figured id recover quick and be able to hit these again in 2 days. but now theres this stupid hurricane coming and might shut everything down for a bit. we'll see

Do calisthenics, you should gain 15lbs of mass since it'll confuse your muscle.

Imagine if he would keep putting in all that work PLUS eat right and do all the other little shit that most of us have to do to be better at something. Skies the limit for freaks like him. Just hate to see someone waist all that shit. But if he’s happy then that’s truly all that matters.

hit a quick lift, trying to get done quick so i could make it to boxing. failed 325 on bench (different bar threw me off i think) then i did the following sets. big jump on tricep movements but thats because they were fresher from less benching beforehand.

No pump or anything and the bicep looks like this. not even really lean rn either. All my water is intramuscular rn, like none subq. idk whats causing it but im pretty optimistic with this 57nor stack

Synthol, no joking. I'm sure your quads can grow. Probably just need a different training style. You do higher weight low reps. We both know more reps deep stretch is the key.

100% agree. He enjoys the way he approaches things and that's what's important. He doesn't want to be a pro BB so good for him.

He's a genetic anomaly and that's why many of us get frustrated with his approach because if he took this seriously he could not only do well competing, but get a pro card, while guys like me (most of us) who are genetically meh would never be able to reach that level regardless of what we do and that means taking fucking stupid amounts of gear, eating clean, whatever.

There is no way he could get through a 16 week contest prep and that's cool. Some guys just do their own thing. The last thing he should do is compete unless he goes all in. It's all about goals and what you enjoy. If he wants fast food, soda and Panda express rock it, but it is certainly not advantageous for gain and/or health in combo with the drugs. His choice and I respect it.

I just don't want people to think, well Big V does this so I can too. F that, you will get fat and blood work would be a wreck.

maybe ment is the relationship killer its made out to be. girlfriend raised some redflags, i called her out on em, now we're on shaky ground.

I get "leg extensions only doesnt work 😠" but neither does halfassing a different compound every week while my knees fail me. so im trying leg extensions only for a while.

What @TakeItEazy said it obviously true, if I can't keep up the intensity then I've gotta up the volume. So for leg extensions I did 3 rest pause sets with 5 minisets each. 15 deep breaths between each miniset, 4min between each actual set. I think my quads did get a good workout in, the numbers on the last set were significantly worse than the first 2, so those first 2 probably did a good job.

Ham curls and bad girls were done with 2 rest pause sets each to failure. heavy one then a backoff one. Good girls were done at like 80-85% intensity for 2 straight sets. those are just to keep the adductors functional for when i inevitably add compounds back in. only topset tracked.

15 sets of leg extensions doesnt sound low mileage, but I did manage to finish the workout in under an hour, including the 4 sets of neck curls I did. Still no forearm work, theyre blasted from rock climbing. If they still are tomorrow, I'll sub the back day for push day. Benefit of having only done 1 set each yesterday; likely ready to go already.

Your leg layout visually looks promising, I'm sure Ketchup or someone else can give pointers. Some of the obvious I'll regurgitate is.. if the muscle is sore, you stimulated it enough, therefore keep going bro.

Val. For a week, eat real fucking food LOL.. your acid reflux is a mixture of bad diet and gastric agitation. One week dude. One week.

Call out a woman, gently, and give her guidance. Women (with good dads) generally like a bit of guidance in a non-parental way, also, if she acts like a bitch, just be affection. I notice that when my girl acts like a brat, I lift her up on my shoulder, laugh and then put her down. Is she upset? Sure Is she going to continue the brattiness? No, why? I turned the "vibes" back into a playful one...
