i know i said the log was closed but idk where else to ask this. @tbda says to continue the bulk while off drugs (150test 2gh) til feb then start a show prep with drugs. rather than cutting while off drugs. what u think @Meetketchup and anyone that has a serious opinion

I respectfully disagree with @tbda for this reason. If you were eating clean and weighing everything being precise on hitting macros I would "maybe" consider that and think that's where he is coming from (correct me if I'm wrong). I'm being real and know you don't eat like that, which is fine. You can't eat like you, continue to bulk from here with no drugs and not gain a lot of bodyfat which will be counterproductive. You are at a perfect end of bulking phase currently. Could you push the bulk a little more WITH drugs? Yes. Would it be the best option? I would say it's not worth the additional fat to muscle you would put on at this point.

I would drop some gear, go on at least a mini-cut and then take it as far as you want. You will be leaner, gigger and primed for growth at that point. It's always better to add mass from a leaner starting point. Otherwise, it's diminishing returns.

If you ever did a show, you'd have a brutal following everything, especially a hardcore diet and to start a high bodyfat % in your case is NOT a good idea. You'd want the easiest prep possible. The way I outlined above allows for that.

Don't do that. With your diet you'll just get disproportionately fatter.
 
i guess i'll just chill for a bit then. keep protein high, train hard, eat the calories my body requests.

gotta start the prep february though cuz im going cross country this summer to block tbda from an overall win

I suggested this to him because he didn't want to take a maintnance phase and his other plan was pretty stupid if he was going to start prep in feb or march. you are right with how he eats he'd just get fat, but he also peels off fat at an insane rate

I 100% agree with this. Being too fat at the start of prep is an absolute nightmare. I started at 25% and we started cutting november for an april show. By the end I was dead and over dieted lol.

I would listen to ketchup as he has way more knowledge than I do.
