Yea watched a interview with mcgregor yesterday . Seems his head is clear and ready to start actually fighting for real again
 
McGregor looks huge. And says he is at 170 now. Probably bigger than Cerrone.

Cowboy is one of my favour fighters. If he beats McGregor it will be massive for him.

If McGregor wins it’s a stepping stone for a title fight.

I don’t mind who wins. And I’ll watch
 
I’ll definitely be watching. I’m a big cerrone fan. If I’m not mistaken, he has the most fights, most wins and most finishes than any other fighter in ufc history. Mcgregor better not under estimate him. It can go either way, but I’m hoping cerrone wins

Looks like a good bet to make. I hope McGregor gets his arm broke.
 
Hope Cowboy wins but his last two fights have me thinking he'll get KO'd. Conor is always looking to land that left hand and Cowboy's chin suspect. It will be great if Cowboy pulls it off though. Been a fan of his since the TapOut guys found him.

Recent interview on ESPN McGregor says he is around 160 right now. Huge mistake taking this fight at 170. His power doen't translate against bigger dudes and he only has his left hand. His gas tank is problably optimal though when he isn't cutting weight or bulking up too much. My money is on Cowboy all the way. Easy bet! I'm getting some buddies together and throw in $10 each and order the PPV. That's the way to go IMO.
 
I hope conner wins, he brings a lot of attention and money and then he fights tony and tony crushes him for a huge paycheck

I like this as well. Tony is the best and will kill Conor. I’d like to see Tony get that Red Panty $$$
 
Cowboy is one of the best strikers in UFC history and has a better ground game than people give him credit for (remember when he armbarred Perry) unfortunately his idea of defence is "hit me as hard as you can and if you don't knock me out I'll kick your ass".Conor has that big left that will land at some point but he may overlook Cowboy.He's already talking about boxing again.Maybe Cowboy can win in an upset.

You think this fight is a ploy/set up to have McGregor win a big fight....put him back into the lime light? He was a big draw and making the UFC a load of money a few years ago. Have to wonder?

This happened a lot back in the old days with boxing. Another reason boxing is a dead sport.

I honestly don’t think it’s a ploy. This has been a fight in the works for almost 5 years. Plus, this isn’t a guaranteed win for McGregor. He’s fighting a guy who has the most wins in the history of the UFC, the most stops in the UFC and the most fights in the UFC. cerrone isn’t someone to look at as a fight McGregor can just show up and win to get him back into the lime light. He’s going to have to really work to finish cerrone and cerrone has more than enough power to put McGregor out. He’s stepping up to a weight class he’s only fought in twice against Diaz and got the shit knocked out of him both times, though he won one of those fights. These guys hit harder and are naturally bigger than he is. It’s going to be a great fight, but I really hope Cerrone wins
