    German Volume Training

    I was wondering about your guys' thoughts on German Volume Training and its effects of building muscle mass?

    Thereís a great sticky on GVT. Just search German volume training in the search bar on the forum.

    personally I think itís great and worth a try.

    Iím biased tho and have always enjoyed high volume training because of the pump I get. Unfortunately I donít feel like it does much for overall strength and size. Most of the guys I know that are serious about bodybuilding use this method in between routine changes and or to get over plateaus.

    Whats are your goals ?
    Current stats?
    Reason for interest?

    Gotta find what works for your goals and incorporate periodization.

    I was wanting to try it to break through a plateau. But I've also heard it does put on size. I've just had the same routine forever which has been:
    Day 1: Chest
    Day 2: Triceps
    Day 3: Back
    Day 4: Biceps
    Day 5: Shoulders
    Day 6: Legs

    I've like that routine because it gives me plenty of time to recover and I'm not in the gym for a long period of time. Other than 5' 9" 240 (fat) I don't know my other stats. I was going to actually start keto next week. My current cycle is test cyp 1000mg a week, Tren 100mg EOD, and cycling on and off of Clenbuterol.

    Just my opinion but keto + high volume weight training = giving up before first week is up.

    Cut back on carbs absolutely ( get them from sources like sweet potatoes and brown rice) but Iíd be hypo trying to bust through a high volume workout with no carbs.

    If you can do it while in ketosis you should have no problem burning fat
