Killer back session last night. One of the areas i really need to improve upon is my mid/low back, which is why I'm focusing on so many rowing movements. This area has suffered over the years due to an injury (herniated discs) I had when I was 23 years old.

Pull-ups
15 reps w/40lbs of assistance
12 reps w/25lbs of assistance
10 reps w/25lbs of assistance
10 reps w/bodyweight
8 reps w/bodyweight

Close-grip pulldowns
15x160lbs
12x180lbs
12x200lbs
10x220lbs
10x220lbs

Bent over barbell rows - this is a movement that I've avoided for many years due to my injury, which is why I kept the weight relatively low.
15x135lbs
12x185lbs
10x225lbs
10x225lbs

T-bar rows
15x100lbs
12x125lbs
10x150lbs
10x175lbs

Seated cable rows
12x180lbs
10x200lbs
10x220lbs

LifeFitness machine rows (plate loaded) seat on lowest setting to target upper back
12x360lbs
12x410lbs
10x430lbs
8x450lbs

You own a VW touareg V8?? I had one best suv I ever had till I totaled it drunk one night.. But they got some balls

I asked Sheri to move this thread into the log section as it's evolving into more of a log than anything else. Thank you, Sheri!

I'm on week 7 since upping my test dose to 1600mg/wk. Also running EQ @ 800mg/wk and Deca @ 600mg/wk. I decided I'm going to run this blast for one more week then drop down to a cruise dose for a month to give my body (and wallet) a break. I've made good progress with the increased test dose in spite of being in a calorie deficit. Body weight this morning was 216.5lbs and waist measured 35.5". Five weeks remaining on my cut.

Nice workouts, I like all the calf work, not many take the time to hit them hard. And dips, my God I miss dips, my shoulder health is so bad I can't even do a negative nowadays.... maybe one day it'll come back. Keep up the great work Touareg!

Question, do you take an extended cruise or break at some time during the year? This year for me has been the most gear I have ever used. I've only been using a few years. This year I have pretty much cycled most of it with a month break here and there. About 1500mg is the max I dose, all gear combined, at least at this point that is all I've done. Just like to hear how others handle it. I mean if you are not a genetic freak, you need to stay on quite a bit to make progress, especially at my age.

That's true, two herniated discs (L5/S1-L4/5). I believe that's the reason I haven't been able to reach the numbers that I was at prior to the injury. My leg workout is pretty basic.

Quad day (once a week)
leg extensions - 4 sets of 20 reps with light weight to warm up the knees
Squats - 2 warm up sets with 135lbs to stretch everything out, then 5 working sets pyramiding up in weight each set. Reps are in the 6-10 range.
Leg press - 4 sets, pyramid fashion, 10-12 reps (my gym has a few different types of leg press machines so I change this up frequently)
Hack squats (feet together) - 4 sets, pyramid up, 10-12 reps

Hamstring day (once a week)
Romanian deadlifts - 4 sets, pyramid up each set, 10-12 reps
Sumo squats (super wide, toes pointed out) - 4 sets holding 125# dumbbell, 15 reps
glute/ham raises - 4 sets holding a 45# plate, 10-12 reps
lying leg extensions - 4 sets, pyramid up, 10-12 reps. Some weeks I'll do single leg curls instead of this.

Nothing fancy, but I always work up to a maximum amount of weight on my final set on most of these movements.

Love this routine!

I've been blasting most of this year, crawf. I went on a six week cruise dose around the end of March and I'll be dropping down to another four week cruise dose in two weeks. Most of that time I was running between 750mg-800mg of test and have alternated between deca, tren, and EQ during that time. I haven't run any orals in a few years. I agree with you about the need to stay on and I feel that although my physique has improved over the years, I'm still not at the level I'd like to be so I figured I'd try something out of my ordinary and significantly increase my test dose. after this break I'm going to start blasting again at the beginning of October. I'm thinking 2g of test/wk along with deca and tren run at 300-400mg/wk each. I monitor my blood pressure several times a week and do double-red donations about every 8 weeks. I alternate donations between LifeSouth and American Red Cross so I can do double-reds more often. My last donation my hemoglobin was 16.5, the lowest I've seen it in years so it's helping. It is my belief that you take care of your blood, which will in turn take care of your heart, you can minimize any potential damage that AAS may cause.

Thank you, brother. I believe this was a PR and I attribute it to the test, and Pantera. :D

thanks brother, very good stuff, I donate regularly too, but I only have one establishment to go to, that's a sweet deal using both facilities like that, smart too.

Shoulder training last night. Was supposed to be calves also but my calves were still pretty sore from my previous calf training earlier in the week.

Seated front lateral raises - palms up
15lbs x 25
15lbs x 25
20lbs x 20
25lbs x 15
30lbs x 12
35lbs x 10

Hammer Strength seated shoulder press
200lbs x 20
260lbs x 15
300lbs x 15
300lbs x 12
300lbs x 10

LifeFitness seated lateral raises - one arm at a time
175lbs x 15
200lbs x 12
210lbs x 12
235lbs x 10

Wide grip upright barbell row - I've been enjoying doing these super wide as I feel they incorporate more traps than a closer grip does. Who could use a little more trap?
95lbs x 20
115lbs x 15
135lbs x 12
155lbs x 12
175lbs x 10
175lbs x 8

Face pulls - The key to this movement is a very short range of motion to keep tension on the rear delts without putting too much tension on the traps and rhomboids.
65lbs x 20
80lbs x 15
95lbs x 12

Reverse lateral raises (rear delts)
20lbs x 20
25lbs x 15
30lbs x 12

215.5lbs this morning. Decided to stop the clenbuterol for awhile. Have had a pounding heartbeat off and on for about a week. BP has been good, yesterday's reading was 119/66 with a heart rate of 89bpm in the middle of the day. I've been cycling the clen 2 weeks on/2 weeks off since May so I feel it's time to give my heart a much needed break from it for awhile. I may continue the E/C stack on Monday but I haven't decided for sure yet. Going to let the clen clear my system and see how I feel over the next couple of days. My goal was to cut down to about 210lbs so I've almost made it. Took today off from training. Looking forward to getting in the gym after a rest day and smash some quads tomorrow...

Great leg training session today.

Leg extensions, 85lbs 4 sets of 20 reps (warm-up)

Squats
135lbs x 12
135lbs x 12
225lbs x 10
315lbs x 10
365lbs x 8

425lbs x 5

Hammer Strength Iso-Lateral leg press

194lbs x 15
239lbs x 12
284lbs x 12
329lbs x 10
374lbs x 8

FreeMotion Squat

I usually do these as a substitute for hack squats and lately I've been standing in the machine facing backwards to add a different variation to the movement. I find that standing in it this way really puts a lot of extra stress on the glutes and hams at the bottom of the movement, and a significant amount of stress on the quads at the top of the movement. My stance is slightly inside of shoulder width.

Thanks for all the sharing man. How has alternating the the clen ephedrine for long periods affected performance? I've thought about doing it in the future as I finish filling out this weight class

My gym has that same free motion machine and i use it the same way from time to time. Does really hit the Glutes but my head and neck get stuck in the shoulder pads all the time lol.

I can't really say that I felt too much from it in regards to performance, McDouche. My strength was pretty flat since I've been eating at a calorie deficit. The thing that made an enormous difference in regard to my strength was doubling my test dose seven weeks ago. Lifts have been going up steadily since then.

Yes! I really noticed this today, had a hard time getting my head out after my set. ;)

Dumbbell Flyes (thumbs up during movement):
30lbs x 15
35lbs x 12
45lbs x 10
50lbs x 8

I shot my last blast dose of Test/Deca/EQ on Tuesday. Will let that clear for a couple weeks and then commence with a cruise dose of 250mg/wk while adding HGH to the mix. I'm going to run that cruise dose for one month then start blasting again at the beginning of October.

I can't imagine your big ass at 210. You must be insane. Your legs are 210. Haha. Anyway way to commit. Need your wheel routine.

Thanks, gdawg. I made it down to 215lbs. Have been off the clen for a week and I'm already back up to 219lbs with no change in diet. Had to give my body a break from the stims for awhile. My quad routine is on the previous page.

Here's today's hamstring/calf session:

Romanian deadlifts (dumbbells) - I prefer doing these with a barbell but no racks were open so I had to improvise
60lbs x 20
70lbs x 15
80lbs x 12
90lbs x 12
100lbs x 12

Sumo squats - done in a smith machine; super wide stance, toes pointed out. I do not go all the way to the top on these. I keep the tension on the lower half of the movement to emphasize the glutes and hamstrings.
110lbs x 15
200lbs x 12
250lbs x 12
300lbs x 10

Hyperextensions - w/band resistance. I do a variation of these that I have found places a much greater amount of stress on the hamstrings. I position myself so there's a bend in my knees and my pivot point of the movement is my knees, not my hips. I raise and lower myself by bending at the knee, not the waist. This makes the hamstrings the primary mover and I end up feeling nothing in my lower back.
4 sets of 15

Lying leg curls
80lbs x 15
95lbs x 12
110lbs x 12

LifeFitness single leg curls - plate loaded
45lbs x 12
45lbs x 12
Fuck this machine! Sucked, will never use it again. Resistance wasn't linear. The bottom of the movement was easy and the top half of the movement was very difficult. I like a constant/steady tension throughout the movement and this machine didn't cut it for me.

Seated calf raises
150lbs x 20
175lbs x 15
200lbs x 12
225lbs x 10
250lbs x 10

Standing calf raises
310lbs x 20
350lbs x 15
390lbs x 12

Calf raises on LifeFitness selectorized leg press machine
270lbs x 20
310lbs x 15
350lbs x 12
350lbs x 12

A few highlights from today's shoulder training.

Glad you turned this into a log and to discover I am not the only 40s dude with a beard around here.

Abs visible yet?

Body weight first thing this morning was 225lbs and the waistline is sitting at 36.25". I put on a little weight while I was on vacation in Florida last week, some is due to the way I was eating, and some due to the HGH. Have been running HGH @ 2ius for the last 2 weeks along with 400mg/wk of T400. I'm experiencing water retention from the HGH, even at 2ius/day. My hands feel swollen and my arms feel tight with a noticeable reduction in range of motion/flexibility. Lethargy is being managed with caffeine tablets. I've decided to postpone my bulk cycle that I had originally planned for the beginning of October. I'm just not satisfied with where I am body fat wise and would like to bring it down some more. I ordered some IMR T3 and will be running that alongside clen for a month or two and see what I can do. I will alternate the clen with ephedrine/caffeine every two weeks just like before. I'll probably start the T3 at 50mcgs/day. Will begin this as soon as I receive the T3 which should be any day now.

Training highlights: Had a great leg session last night and worked my way up to 445lbs x 6 reps on squats. My leg drive out of the hole felt very strong. I know I can handle 495lbs but I'm trying to progress slowly to avoid injuries. I wish I could capture a video of this because I hate posting eStats, however, my wife is my video person, as well as my spotter so she can't do both. : )

Leg extensions (warm up with very light weight), 4 sets
Squats, 2 sets warm up, 5 "working" sets
Horizontal leg press (Hammer Strength), 4 sets
Hack squats, 4 sets

I'll try to get some videos of my training over the weekend. Tomorrow is chest day and Sunday is back day.

Nothing major to report. I am just about 2 weeks in on the IMR T3. I started out dosing it at 50mcg/day, and the last two days I've been dosing it at 60mcg/day. I haven't noticed any results from it thus far. Body weight was 220lbs this morning and the waist measured 36". I don't know if my dose is too low, the shit is bunk, or it just doesn't work for me for some reason. I'll stick with it and bump up the dose by 25mcg each week and see what happens. Still cruising on 400mg/wk of T400 and running HGH at 2.5iu/day.

I changed up my quad session slightly the other night just for something different. Here's what it consisted of:

Leg extensions - 4 sets of 20 reps (warm-up)

Hack squats
225lbs x 12
315lbs x 10
405lbs x 10
495lbs x 8
585lbs x 8

Horizontal leg press (Hammer Strength) single leg
180lbs x 15
225lbs x 15
270lbs x 12
315lbs x 10
360lbs x 10

Walking lunges* w/25lb dumbbells
4 sets of 20 steps
*These kicked my ass as I haven't done them for awhile. The DOMS was incredible and persisted for a good 3-4 days after.

I still have DOMs from DB lunges 4 days ago. Its hard to do pretty much everything...
