It’s a good plan...I’ve always liked it and it creates many additional locations to pin versus IM...in my opinion.
QUOTE=Multislacking;1959956]There's lots of studies on subq vs IM. All of the studies I've seen say IM absorption is better (and why all the meds say for IM use only). So factor that into your game plan. Having said that...the difference I've seen in my personal numbers is negligible. I can't tell a difference (feelz) and my labwork can't tell a difference.
With a 1/2" pin you're barely making it through normal skin thickness. So even if you shoot "straight" perpendicular and *try* to hit a muscle, at best you are probably going to get shallow IM and some subq. So I will hit my usual targets that way...quads, glutes, delts, traps. I will pinch skin on my abdomen and do a true subq pin there. So by the time you count all that up, it's 10 targets. So each one has about a week and a half to recover. Not too shabby. I rarely get lumps, but if it happens, plenty of time to heal and they are small due to lower volume. I'm obviously not pinning 3ml subq. I am by no means saying this is the perfect way to do things....it's just how I prefer to do it.[/QUOTE]
