Not sure if this goes in supplements or nutrition but I just wanted to share a game changer for me. I have always suffered from cramps when I do crazy intensity training bouts. Even when supplementing with the usual suspects like magnesium, zinc, taurine etc. what I have found that works the best believe it or not is pickle juice. I was talking about it with this old farmer guy while we were duck hunting that actually has a shit load of life advice so when he talks I listen. He told me he always kept a jar of pickle juice when he would be out working and if and when he started cramping up he would take a sip of the pickle juice and drink some water. I threw a swig in one of my salad dressing containers and today when I was doing abs I got the mother of all ab cramps, if you have never had one of those let me tell you they suck donkey balls. I was ready to call it and remembered I had the juice so said what the hell, slammed it and within minutes the cramp let loose and I actually did three more sets. Now I have only tried it once but there is now a shot of pickle juice in the fridge next to my pre workout. He did give one other bit of advice, he said don’t get in the habit of pissing in pickle jars. We laughed about that and then shot some ducks.
