Hahaha! I can’t drink that shit either. It’s like drinking snot. As soon as I start to swallow it my throat just pukes that shit right back up. I usually just scramble a cup of whites with one whole egg in a little olive oil and have no problem getting that down.
 
We used both from the carton or from the shell , but over the years you have to be careful just like eating shellfish.
