    What works best for you?

What I have found out over the years that works best for me is low to moderate carb/high fiber for staying lean, fat loss when cutting and leaner gains when bulking. Everyone is different though. What has worked best for you?

Keeping protein at 1-1.5 grams per lb and sticking with my alloyed calories but filling them in with whatever food I want

I hear ya bro. I go at least 1 gram per pound, but never go over 20% carbs, usually more like 15% or lower sometimes.

I donít think fats and carbs ratio makes a difference as far as actual fat loss. So if I want to fill in calories with pizza, ice cream, or cheese cake Iíll do it. It allows me to live a normal life while still staying on track with goals. The only macro set in stone is protein.

High EFAs and protein, carb cycling, IF, above maintenance, cause I'm a hard gainer. Dirtier than most of the guys. Good post. I like to know what others are doing too.

Diet is the same year round. 6-7 hydro iso shakes 50g pro each, 150-250 carbs per meal and no fats nor fiber

Carb regulation really seems to be the key. Look at this strange carb mechanism. Stay hungry, by reducing carbs you can stay hungry, no matter how much you eat. Carb cycling - zero day one, normal day two, unlimited day three is as much as I can deny myself, but the benefit seems to be unlimited hunger ?

I wish I could drink all my protein, but unfortunately I have to be able to chew the majority of it, lol! It would save me a hell of a lot of time cooking. Glad you can though. Just wish I could.

Increase your fiber intake (mostly soluble fiber). If you like beans, eat as many as possible. This will cure your "hunger pains," if you're trying to reduce calories. If it's on a "no carb" day,
you can get the Equateģ brand orange flavored sugar free fiber supp at Wal Martģ. It has majority soluble fiber. Try and get 30-40 grams of fiber daily, divided over every solid food meal. Try this and see if it works.

For me keto is king... My body responds super to it. I might do a log about my current journey on keto. The cliff notes version is January 27th this year I scaled in at 306.4 lbs. April 27th 3 months into my adventure I scaled in at 243 lbs. The lowest I hit was 5/2 at 240lbs. I'm currently sitting at 251.6 this morning.

Thatís a really good point to consider that I left out. My main consideration with food choices is digestibility. Iíve got stomach issues and have to be pretty careful. I log all my food and how it makes me feel. Dont get me wrong most of the time my food choices are pretty clean. Iím a fan of flexible dieting, but it has to be the right food choices for me. Even with pizza which Iíll eat probably once a week itís white pizza, no red sauce, nothing acidic or spicy.

I drink the majority of my protein as well. Pasteurized egg whites, iso shakes, bcaa+eaa. I might eat chicken or fish 1-2x a day.
