Gotta love True Nutrition! I have been using Super Beets from humann for a couple years. Almost out. Gonna try TN's beet powder. 4 Tbsp? Is that a standard dose? Or super dose lol:)
TN beet root is the best I've used. I typically use 12-15g, which is probably about 2tbsp. I'll measure tomorrow

Felt great today. Got called to work mid session though so I had to speed it up. Ditched one chest set. I'll make it up on lower day when I have more time to grind it out properly.

Plate loaded pull down - 280*25(+10/+1), 280*24(+10/+2)
Smith Yates Row - 225*28(+2), 225*26(+2)
Flat machine - 270*24(+2)
DB Lateral - 40*24(+5)
Pin selector shoulder press - 85kg*25(+5kg/-1)
Ez skull Crusher - 80*23(+10)

I love these Yates rows on the Smith. I get such a great stretch and contraction in my upper back. That's why I didn't increase weight this week so I felt it again but, next rotation it bumps up.

Grind away.

Good session. Burned down so now I get one of my free meals. Maybe do sushi.

Second day back "training".

Still waiting on the green light but it felt good to hit legs after over a week and a half of not training them.

Just went and got a good solid pump, moved a little weight but nothing close usual.

Lying leg curls - 4*10 @110
Sldl - 3*8 315
Hack - 4*10 225
Reverse hack - 2*20 135
Extensions - 4*15 110
Calf Raise - 5*15 90

Felt good. Ready to start pushing weights back up and get in the groove.

No real diet atm. Free eating but it's all my usual food, just when I'm hungry I'll eat. One piece of cheesecake a night until it's gone only one left though lol

And yeah, I didn't open my back up at all during the show for some reason. Cost me big.

Yeah lol. I can admit when I'm beat.

I shouldn't have lost the novice though but, I still congratulated the guy on stage and shook his hand, told him good job and all that.

In this sport you always are at the mercy of a judge so, it's not always going to shake out.

Bottom line, I gave it away because, it shouldn't have even been a question on who won. All on me.

Non training day.

Had a good bday day Yday.

After I smoked legs I hammered them with the massage gun.

Got in a nap. (I missed my post training naps SO much)

Prepped some chicken and rice.

Cooked burgers for the wife and kids.

Ate skirt steak.

Played some board games.

Went to bed super early.

Getting old lol. Wife was going to take me to dinner but, I wanted to just have a quiet family dinner. It was nice and then we went no holds barred on board games against the kids lol. No taking it easy on the youngsters in this house.

Training from Yday. Lucky our power was on at the gym so I could blow off some stress.

Don't have my book in front of me for exact increases but, strength went up across the board

Pull down - 231*23, 231*21 (these went up in weight around 22lbs)
Hammer row - 145*25(+10-1)
Viz dead - 290*24(+20)
Incline hammer - 280*23, 280*22(+10)
Pin selector shoulder press facing pad - 80kg*23(10kg), 80*22
French press on Smith - 150*18/100*7 (too heavy, dropped on fifth mini set)
Knee raises - 24, 23
