Can any experts help? High creatine, ast and alt. I do my own phlebotomy, but I’m due for another this week.

I’ve read ast can be elevated due to exercise. Thoughts?

Creatinine is kidney function related and yes it can be effected by being active; mine runs on the high end of normal like yours year round.

Your liver values are HIGH, stop whatever oral compounds or methylated injectables you may be taking. Get on a liver support supplement immediately, my suggestion is TUDCA and NAC; easy to get on amazon. I’d also suggest a hefty multivitamin or “cycle support” combination.

This looks like something that should’ve been addressed long ago. Take it seriously, and handle it immediately.

On top of that; water water water.

1) Donate blood immediately

2) Introduce Electrolytes into your diet immediately (pedialyte is fine, but I use Hydralyte effervescent tabs off amazon, way more affordable. Add to your water morning and before bed)

3) Add liver support. NAC 2x per day should work. Get NOW brand or Jarrow formulas brand

Possibly take time off whatever orals or strong AAS you are using just to get liver value to a normal range. Cut out any other meds, orals if you can.

Also next time you give labs, do not work out for 48+ hours, and do not drink alcohol the night before. Creatinine levels combined with liver values elevated, aren't just signs of stressed organs, they are huge red flags that you are cellularly dehydrated.

And the RBC proves you need to donate. Get that done first and foremost and you will see alot of other values fall in line.

Your hematocrit and RBC levels show you also bordering on needing to donate blood. Get in the habit of doing this as frequently as the donation centers allow.

Please take a harder look at what you’re doing in this lifestyle, you’ve got to be proactive because this shit can cause real issues if left unchecked.

1. Water
2. Donate blood
3. NAC AND TUDCA or I would recommend Glutathione and MIC inject.

What were you taking?

Did you take liver support on cycle?

Thanks for all the feedback guys. Currently I’m only on TRT prescription by my doc. 200mg/wk depo-testosterone aka cyp.

I have always been very regular on my bloodwork but the last year have not been. This is a surprise to me.

I’m going to donate this week via phlebotomy at home like I normally do. Also will look into the liver support.

That is even more concerning. You need a doctors visit. Any chance of exposure to hepatitis? Are you a heavy drinker or opiate user?

I am surprised this has never shown up on labs from your TRT doc. As Wes mentioned.. you didn’t happen to get drunk the night before pulling the labs did you? Though I can’t imagine it would have thrown them that far off even if you had.

And please do not “look into” the liver support, get it ordered and on it.

A medical exam is a 100% necessity for you at this point.

I could’ve got drunk, but not sure. I don’t use any drugs or anything that. Don’t really drink often I’m just on TRT no orals.

My doc has referred me to a liver specialist so I will be seeing someone soon. This is pretty concerning.

Your creatinine is so slightly elevated its not worth the evaluation. This is expected with heavy training.

As to your liver, that's what it does when stressed with heavy training. It is the only organ that regenerates itself and this is what it does with this lifestyle. High enzymes means it is working harder. It happens.

Nice that your doctor referred you to a specialist just in case, but if you do not have an illness nothing will change it other than stop weight training.

Ok looks like I found the NAC supplement from NOW. What is the mg dose I should be taking? They have 1000 and 600mg capsules.

Thanks Skip. So is this not as alarming as others have indicated? I’m a pretty freaked out at the moment! Ready to order some NAC liver support. Just unsure of milligrams needed.

The blood analysis is a snap shot in time, not a chronic indicator over time. If you have not had this issue before and nothing has changed in your life I would say it is an anomaly and not deterioration of your liver.

Just like having normal blood pressure. At some time it will be high blood pressure but not all the time.

I wish I would have bookmarked the thread but there was a guy that had AST or ALT that was over 2,000 from years of oral AAS use. He went to a hepotoligist and do you know what he was prescribed? Time off. That was it, no drugs no prescription of any kind and he was in normal range within 4 months.

I think seeing a specialist is great, but I would not be that worried.

BTW, I have had worse numbers than yours.

That’s a relief. Thx man. I did just start BJJ 2 weeks ago and it’s a crazy workout. Maybe that is part of it? I have been on the same TRT dose now for quite a while. Still I’ll be picking up the liver support and see what effects it has on my labs.

Could be. We do not go through life doing this without going out of range on some test, it happens. If you did a lot of muscle damage then heck ya your numbers would go up.

Go buy a fifth of Jack Daniel's and guzzle that, see what your values are, but you would recover. Your liver is very resilient.

Lol thx man. I did end up ordering the NAC and will get myself into the specialist just to be safe.

I also wonder if chew can cause elevated liver enzymes? It’s my one vice. I love dip lol.

NOW is a good brand, it keeps my markers in range, I take 600mg am and 600mg in the evening. If you can find it LIV52 DS is a good liver detox, its cheap too.
