    SB Labs bloodwork thread

Thanks! Do you think I should be worried that all my results are in the red for being too high? Just messing, really good stuff!

    Opinion on Sarms?

Im not opposed to SARMS, but I like that AAS has more published research, has been available for decades, and the side effects and dosages are better established. Not that I know a whole lot about SARMS, but some of the user reported side effects are interesting to say the least. Isn’t there...

    Boldenone rbc

Glycomann is spot on. I would be hesitant to donate on a schedule without monitoring labs.

    Boldenone rbc

At a hospital I may or may not have worked at once upon a time, hematocrit reductions were used to treat patients with polycythemia vera and guys with elevated crit who were on “TRT.” Basically a blood donation that didn’t get donated. Regular donation should work well. Tracking with labs would...

Why Do Slow Drivers Stay in the Left Lane..??

I honestly think it’s 50% people simply being oblivious and 50% people on a power trip. “My life sucks. I have control over nothing. I’m driving right at or below the speed limit in the left lane and you’re waiting behind me. Just because I can and it makes me feel just a little bit better...

    Back issues

I agree with avoiding drugs as much as possible. Surgery works great for some and destroys other people. Ive said before I should’ve gone ortho spine because the pay is great and there’s basically no way to tell if they’re any good or not. Honestly I would wait to start any stretches...

    US Soldiers and Steroids?

Ive got AD experience, involved in healthcare. Knew one the MS officer LTCs that helped oversee the wizz quiz for the Army briefly before he separated. Currently, there is no random testing for juice, but your CO can order you tested for it. Most of the rare ppl I heard of that got busted for...

    38/m non-lifter looking for advice.

Vision makes a good point. I never cycled while practicing BJJ, but even when I was in my early twenties I couldn’t lift well when I was rolling 2-3 times a week. I’m sure some people can get away with it, but I think for most mere mortals dedicated BJJ and bodybuilding are mutually exclusive.

    38/m non-lifter looking for advice.

Starting lifting for the first time at your age while on a first time cycle sounds like a sure fire recipe for ligament and joint problems. I would definitely want to get my connective tissue acclimated to heavy weight loads before cycling. I’m not saying stay natural until you hit “your...

    Working out with shoulder pain

I’ll second high rep band pull apart and face pulls. Switching to neutral grip on pressing has helped me previously. I think mace swings can be helpful too. If you have insurance that covers PT, I’d recommend at least one session. A good PT can show you a few helpful tricks.

A close friend had Leukemia/ f this blows

I’ve seen this sort of thing before. Sounds like he’s got a good support system and that’s key. It’ll be tough, but stay positive. That’s probably the most important thing you can do for him. Let the docs help the body. You and the fam have to help the mind.

A close friend had Leukemia/ f this blows

ALL- That’s a real bummer. I was hoping it was something less aggressive. I wish him and the family the best. Stay positive, people do beat ALL.

That’s a real bummer. Do you by chance know what kind he was specifically diagnosed with?

What is the funniest things/stories you have ever seen in a gym??

Not as good as the first post, but years ago as an undergrad at my college’s gym, during peak time no less, a group of yell leaders (or whatever they’re called) were hitting the iron. One of of them is doing concentration curls in front of the mirror and he starts screaming at himself: “Ah...

    VA disability

Glad to see there’s like minded individuals to myself here. That’s one of the reasons I just joined the forum. I go back on forth on claiming (when the time comes). I think the hesitation a lot of people have with claiming has to do with the personality that joins in the first place. Hell I...

Long time lurker to this board (and others). I’ve rarely had a question I couldn’t answer with a search. I finally decided I liked this board enough to join. Seems like a good group, thanks for having me.
