They should be done together quads n hams/calves. One thing ive learned is do your reps to COMPLETE failure. Just dont do 4 sets at 10 reps like average. Do sets to complete failure.
On leg press do wide stance than narrow feet stance etc. Example. Do 10-15 reps or to failure w feet wide apart...
