Yeah I'm just doing it for me. I don't have any friends who have even thought about becoming vegan. And yeah I know about amino acids. Quinoa, buckwheat, quorn, rice with beans, Ezekiel bread, and hempseed are all complete sources of protein.
You're right the vegan society was founded in 1944 and read meat has been around since cave men. But that's no reason to not self experiment with the diet and see if it does anything for you. Isn't bodybuilding all about trying to experiment with diet, training, and chemicals?
