i was merely commenting on how rogan sometimes gets a little too big for his britches. What I want to see is those that propose that humans are the reason our globe undergoes climate cycles actually step up and commit to living a more geo-centric lifestyle.

So far, they’ve all failed. What they do propose is that we, the working class, make the sacrifices for them. They cannot do it themselves because they are spoiled pampered douchebags. You see it everyday.

case in point... the world is changing climate wise.... but there is confusion about exactly why. Do I feel like humans have contributed... absolutely... there’s no denying this. Humans are lazy and have abused their homes.... is the solution to burn everything down and go back to a native/primitive way of life ... no... not at all...

weather patterns are cyclical.... the world was much warmer than it is today and the world was much colder than it is today and at some point it will return to both of those extreme phases...

the data everyone speaks about shows this as well...

we need to do better as a species to ensure things stay intact on many different environmental issues. But we cannot return to a caveman type of existence or uproot society as a whole in doing so.

I listen to his podcast pretty much everyday. He's a pretty smart guy that seems down to earth but sometimes he gets unnecessarily aggressive with some topics instead of exploring them or entertaining them. Which can be annoying at times since it ruins some potential interesting discussions. And sometimes he does just talk out of his ass about something he thinks he knows but doesn't really fully understand. I also assume he probably pinned his trt within those time periods like you said lmfao (I do wonder if he takes anything else) He definitely can be a hypocrite but usually he's pretty reasonable.
He's talked with one or two guys, their names escape me. But they have a theory with some interesting evidence that suggests that a meteor/asteroid may have hit earth during our last ice age causing rapid melting and global temperature changes. And if true could change our understanding of earth's climate history. It's pretty interesting and their take isn't taking any political sides.

I think what her belief is that she’s not convinced that humans are causing the climate change and that it’s all politicized for money. And that would have been a better answer. Al Gore has been flying around the world in his private jet for 20 years talking about global warming. I remember him saying the polar ice caps would be melted by 2020. Al Gore is now a very wealthy man and a complete fear mongering hypocrite.

The climate is not static, never has been never will be. Large volcanic eruptions emit more carbon than humans have in our entirety of being industrialized. The world has warmed and cooled down umpteen times as confirmed by ice cores, fossil records, dried up lake beds, etc.

In fact if not for all that carbon release we would not be here. How you ask? Simple, the great oxygenation event came about from high carbon levels. Essentially the C02 breathing life forms ruled the world. However, mother nature and life always finds a way. Eventually all the oxygen released by these species built up enough that oxygen breathing lifeforms eventually arose, and through evolution, God, aliens, whatever we came about as a result.

Humans will never stop mother nature. We might slow her down or speed her up (inconsequentially in the grand scheme of things as Earth has billions of years to survive until the Sun expands and swallows it) but we will never affect her enough to exact meaningful change.

There have been mostly slow changes but there has been times radical climate change has happened. Again humans had no affect on any of this. At one point in time(many actaully) Earth has been completely frozen, others a water world(just confirmed by the way, you should read the studies/papers on it)

To reiterate the process of climate change is and always has been on going, it just seems static to humans because or lives are so short and our memories even shorter.
