I smoked heavy for 10 years and my wife and I quit 6 years ago. No vape, chew , or anything I feel way better and gained 10 lbs of muscle quick. Also everything is better we smell better, food tastes better, sex is way better, breathing and working out are better. Congrats man just don't smoke no matter what and before long you won't even think about it.

yea no drinking goes without saying...... last time i quit for 6 months and got drunk......started smoking again

Great! Keep it up! It's good you have better attitude and energy is up. Same thing happened to me when I stopped. I smoked for 15yrs at the end I was smoking half a pack a day I was ready to quit. So I had a dentist cleaning appointment so I smoked my last cigarette that morning went to dentist got my teeth clean. It felt great I didn't want to ruin that feeling of my mouth feeling so clean so it helped me stop smoking even more. It's been around 15yrs now and I never want to start up ever again. I can smell people who smoke now and I don't want to smell like that anymore. I feel way better now that I stopped. And you will to. Yo have to want it or else it won't happen.

You're gunna hit the hard part right now bro, stay strong and don't ever let you give yourself an excuse to smoke one!! Good job bro

Good for you man.. you'll notice you wont get as sick anymore, you're gonna start feeling better and better as the days go on.. dont go back man, you owe this to yourself!

IML Gear Cream!
And it's great for bulking, cigs fucking kill appetite and you don't notice til you quit. I quit and was eating everything for months

3+ years smoke free here, thanks to chantix and gear.... If someone is smoking next to me, I still like the smell and want a smoke but, the urge/addiction is gone and I can just shrug it off.. stay strong, make it past the first year and youre golden!

Congratulations!! Now just tell yourself that you will never take another puff again, not one. The most dangerous times for relapse are 6 and 18 months because people think that they have it beat and can take a puff. Then it's just a matter of time until the habit is back to original strength. You are past the worst part now just stay strong!! Congratulations again, very hard thing to do.

Congrats!! Quit cold turkey myself in 2013. It's one of the best moves you can make. Just stay strong with your will power. Fight that urge to have one again.

Props. I have never smoked but I know any addiction is hard to just quit cold.

That's awesome, I smoked 30 yrs, and dipped, and quit all tobacco over a year ago. Can breathe and workout much better.

Congrats stay strong and positive. Work through the cravings which will come and go. 4 packs a day to nothing is going to be hard but you will continue to feel incredible as you heal.

Me and the wife quit last year; lifelong smokers. Once she had mini-strokes and then brain surgery for an aneurysm, you tend to change some habits lol. We feel a LOT better but it's not an easy hill to climb. Stick with it, day by day it'll eventually get easier. Congratulations on the choice to quit!!

good for you man, stay strong.. lots of shit a need to quite myself

Congratulations! It is very difficult to quit after years of tobacco, stay with it and you'll add years to your life.

My man
I'm on month 4 no cigs at 24 from 2 packs a day

My advice is
DONT do nicotine replacement therapy (for example; nicotine gum, vapes or patches) as you'll just stay addicted to nicotine
If you HAVE to keep your hands busy especially when drunk, there are herbal NICOTINE FREE cigs and NICOTINE FREE disposable vape pens out there

They're still not great for your health, but if you use them as a temporary measure in emergencies, it stops you from buying actual fags and won't keep you addicted!

Other than that, do cardio, the positive fitness results you'll see should keep you motivated

And just remember

Not many got birds want to neck on with a bloke whose just chuffed a few bensons
Or at least they'd rather crack on with someone who smells fresh

Stay strong brother

Yo, that is awsome man, don't go back. It's a disgusting habit that kills you and in the mean time gets a bunch of southern rich guys richer. Props to you, I know that's not easy

Don't get too hung up on time frames. People put so much emphasis on length of time they've quit. It can cause a "I had so much time without cigs and screwed up, may as well just keep smoking" scenario because it seems like starting the clock over.

Day one is just as important day 1000. If you have a weak moment and give in, all is not lost. Just say oops and get back on track. There is no clock to start over, you either smoked today or you didn't.

You Brits and your slang lol. Cracks me up

I smoked for 21 years, 2 packs a day. This November it will be 20 years ago that I quit. My advice is to focus on all the negatives. Don't think to yourself I wish I could have one or envy coworkers smoking. Focus on what a disgusting habit it is, and you are free. Smelly breath, stinky fingers, whole house smelling like an ashtray, cigarette stained clothes, furniture and light colored curtains. Look at ashtrays filled with butts in disgust. Laugh at the people that huddle outside in bad weather at smoke breaks getting their fix...... and proudly think I AM FREE of this addiction. Not to mention how much money you will save! And most important, no matter how long you quit for don't dupe yourself into thinking you could smoke 'just one' without issue. You'll be back to regular smoking in a matter of days
