Get Shredded!
I have a friend that is 55 and wanting to get in shape. He had blood test done and his doc told him he isn't making any testosterone period as he tells me. I helped him out with a Test/Deca cycle with Dbol to start with and he seemed to do great with it. I personally believe, and the doc believes he needs to do TRT. His wife is opposed to prescriptions like Androgel as she has some stupid notion it causes cancer. So he came to me for the first cycle about 8 months ago and did well with it. It has been since June since he finished the cycle. He now wants to start another cycle to get his body in good shape, build and bulk some, and possibly get his Test levels back to somewhat normal. His libido is low obviously. He told me the last cycle helped him tremendously. What advice do you guys have for him? I believe he needs to be on test more as a permanent thing since he isn't making any. What cycle would be good to start out with and then what would be a good maintaining dose to keep him on long term?

he is approx. 200 lbs. average build

I highly doubt he is making 0 test, would not even be able to function. However I have no doubt it is probably very low. I would tell the wife to hit the road and start trt (preferably injection) especially at 55. Also at that age I would probably go easy on the orals.

Soooo, your friend's wife doesn't trust his doctor to prescribe him medication be she trusts you to build him a steroid stack of orals and injectables of unknown origin? If his levels are are crappy as you say sounds like he could benefit from going back to the doctor. Or have him sign up here so he can provide info about himself.

He needs TRT -not a cycle. The first thing he needs is bloodwork-then his diet and exercise in check.Doc will start him on a TRT dose of approx 150-250 mgs per week. After a few months he can tweak if needed. Luck-OD

lol she doesn't know about him seeking this method haha...and for the test...long ester like test e or shorter like test prop.? combo?

I agree with this.

He def need TRT and should go to a specialist, an endocrinologist or a urologist with blood test results in hand...and he should not, not do it cuz of what his wife "thinks" it may cause, rather what benefits they all will reap from him being on TRT

For self medication if he is not going to another doc...100mg-150mg to start per wk of test e/c.....and if he wants to blast, increase the dose

Stick with longer esters for less pinning per wk and get bloodwork every couple of months to track since he already has his baseline

Thanks so far guys...would you recommend Test C or E? or a combo thereof?

IML Gear Cream!
First off, DO NOT use dbol! You (he) needs to start with a formal HRT and start exercising for at least a year before he gets crazy with dbol. I don't care what anyone else on this forum says, that combination will grow strength WAY faster than his brittle tendons can handle. He's gonna do far more harm than good. Anyone doing that combination at his age has been working out for a long time or, he's fighting tendinitis in every freak'n muscle he works.

1. Be responsible and recommend HRT
2. Tell him to grow some balls (no pun intended there) and tell his wife to stfu and have the Dr prescribe injections of Cyp.

I am confused here and maybe I missed something but when did we start taking juice to get in shape? I am 50 and I wouldn't think for a second that if I was out of shape that the first thing I needed was juice to get in shape. There are basic weight lifting exercises that this guy could of started with to get his natural test at least going to some degree. I am thinking by jumping on the juice so fast that short term it might benefit but long term the guy would be worst off as juice will shut his natural production down even more. Maybe I am wrong.

He needs to get his test back in the normal range, and get his diet, and workout program in check.
