The wife told me about this on our way back home this weekend from our trip out of town. We know about Bernie and his socialist, free loader ideologies, but what do we think about this? 4 day work weeks while requiring employers to pay the same. Obviously first thoughts are higher costs of services aka inflation to upset the rise in pay for businesses, but seems like other countries have applied this and has worked. What are we thinking? Wife said Tuesday to Friday would be great! Lol

Small businesses maybe, but if you think about it it’s always the working class getting the shit end of the stick. You’re telling me Walmart can’t afford it? Or Amazon? According to statistics the 5 day work week was created in like 1940… we are much more productive these days and a 5 day work week is not needed… thoughts? At the end of the day all we’re doing is exchanging the only valuable we have which is our time for money, then we die. For what? We all are born, given a bar code (ss#) then are put through school, then we work and pay taxes till we’re of retirement age then after we’ve given our best years we can hang the gloves if we haven’t died already and receive a pension. This applies to every single one unless they pursue entrepreneurship and find success and still they gotta pay Uncle Sam.

Why do people work from Monday to Friday? That’s my question. They don’t even know it was set that way since the 1940s almost 100 years ago. They simply do it because that’s what they’re told to do. Why not live a day more? The machines in the matrix are huge household names behind all these corporations, behind Exxon mobile and Walmart and the ones pulling the strings behind puppet show (government) etc. it’s always the working folk defending the system that doesn’t do anything for him.

Just my way of seeing things and god knows I don’t free load, but if there was a way for people to slave less that would be a win in my eyes. The government fully supports people who do not want to work with the tax money from those who do work and want to better themselves, but those who work can’t get a day off because either Jeff bezos descendants in 2228 won’t have enough fuel for space travel due to them giving up a 0.1% profit to pay more or the people who live off the government will lose some assistance, so the working class better keep working your 40s plus overtime and we’ll give you a break in your 60s if you haven’t drained your ass by then LOL

I had a great job a few years ago and I fucking quit cause I'm a stupid fuck. I literally tripled what I made in two years from that job from investing it into crypto and stocks. I'm not exactly mentally stable and I make lots of dumbass decisions because I might just be a little depressed, but it always passes, now I'm struggling financially because of it. I'd literally be loaded to the gills if I had invested in this bear market the past couple years instead of jumping from job to job. All my choice at the end of the day.

I think you're missing the point. I don't give a flying fuck how many hours or days someone works. I actually prefer a 10hour 4day week. That's mostly what I've done. I just said paying people more for the value of the work they're performing changes nothing, it will just inflate prices. The real problem is the devaluing of the dollar due to government handling of money. In the last four years there has been a 25% inflation rate. That's why it's crucial to invest your money. If someone wants to work 4 days, do it. I chose to work 0 days and it's working out great for me.
