    Front Delt Tweak

Today is shoulder day. After 3 light warmup sets I went into my 4 working sets of 15 reps. I got through the first 3 sets of 15 fine, but on the 4th set I got to rep 7 and felt a little tweak in my right front delt. Reps 8 & 9 didn't bring any additional pain but instead of risking it I just shut it down for the day. I have full range of motion with my arm/shoulder and no pain when doing so. Next two workouts days are back then chest. I think I'm going to take the next 2 days off completely then proceed with back then chest. What are your thoughts? Should I ice the area? heat?

Tweaks, twinges, twangs or pops are never a good thing. The area may feel well enough to train now, but you'll risk possible more serious injury if you continue. Start icing asap and take a few days off to monitor and watch for bruising and/or swelling. In a couple of days switch to an heat/ice protocol.

i would shut it down until u dont feel any pain with range of motion or while stretching. thats a tough muscle to heal if u really hurt it.good luck boss

Stay off of it and let it heal properly

^^^^ all this is great advice - get it on ice and take a few days off -once tweaked it can take months to repair -OD

Whatís the likelihood that itís just a muscle strain and not a muscle tear?

Pretty certain you would know if you tore something. Trust me I'm recovering from cuff surgery now and the last tear took me to the ground and I couldn't lift my arm. That's not saying you could have s micro tear or something like that. Take the advice given week or two off is nothing compared to months if you press forward

Yea I've torn acl and if you tear something you def will know . I tweak my shoulder once or twice a year on bench or shoulders and just concentrate on legs for a couple weeks and it heals fine due to staying off of it .

Right now I'm on 50mg Tren A ed and 133mg Test e3d. If I plan to take 10 days off, should I keep up with this dosage or stop the Tren dosage and pick it back up when I come back?
