Eat No Protein and Make MORE Muscle Gains?

Less protein, more gains?

As far as making quality gains and building some impressive muscle, many trainers and nutritionists will likely make the same statements: You need to eat a great deal of protein in order to achieve your muscle building goals. Essentially, without adequate protein intake, an individual simply won’t be able to build quality muscle. This statement rings true, specifically for hardgainers and other individuals who are looking to blast fat and attain an aesthetic physique.

Simply put, many people don’t eat protein in the amounts they truly need. But because of that same reason, their are individuals that will eat way too much protein, which can eventually over tax their kidneys and liver. So while you do need to consume an adequate amount of protein, going overboard simply isn’t going to help anyone attain their goals.

But what about the notion of drastically decreasing your protein intake? If you choose to eat less protein, does that mean that your muscle will wither and die, leaving you a husk of deflated skin? According to Doctor Sam Robbins that’s far from the case.

The video courtesy of Dr. Sam Robbins shows why eating less protein a certain amount of times out of the week can be beneficial to building muscle and burning body fat. While it may seem controversial to some, specifically those who worship protein powder as their lord and savior, it does bring up an interesting question. Just how much protein is really required to make solid gains? Have we been over compensating by ingesting extra protein and what are the consequences of such a process. Take a look at the video and discover an interesting method that could change your approach forever.
