    Conor McGregor announces comeback

    Conor McGregor announces comeback

Conor McGregor is fighting his way back into the headlines with a piece of news that isnít rife with controversy. After being away from active competition for the past year, it seems like Conor McGregor is ready to scratch that fighting itch.

After suffering a submission loss to Khabib Nurmagomedov, Conor McGregor took a long hiatus to lick his wounds. Heís been calling for a rematch against Khabib ever since, but the UFC Lightweight champion, as well as the organization, have refused to grant McGregorís wish.

Now, Conor McGregor has taken it upon himself to announce that heíll be making a return to action in January 18, 2020. McGregor made an impromptu announcement in Moscow, Russia stating as much as well as what his approach will be in his upcoming training camp.

This announcement comes in the wake of recent sexual assault allegations, the second alleged account against the former two-division UFC champion. While no wrong doing has been proven against McGregor, this second allegation is beginning to build a trend against the MMA superstar. Of course, Conor McGregor is innocent until proven guilty, but it must be admitted that itís not a good look for the man who was once, and arguably still is, the biggest name in mixed martial arts.

No opponent has been confirmed for this supposed match in January.

They should make a show where he randomly sucker punches old men at the bar.

You don't understand, apparently that is what happens if you "disrespect" an MMA fighter, it's your fault.

That'll be part of the show, the "disrespect":

"Have a Jim Beam on me old timer!"
"Nah I've had six shots already the last hour of far better but thx..."
<KAPOW IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD>

    Slightly different dialogue each encounter.

McGregor is a great fighter but Khabib will kick his ass again if they fight

Sounds like a Rhoden situation in MMA

I agree. I think Tony is the one that beats Khabib. Stand up and ground game is solid AF

Tony is tough as hell, he would be champ already if they didnt fuck up the surgery on his arm, he needed a second surgery to heal they took the old plate out and put a bigger plate in his arm, the whole time he was showing up and training. Trust me he wants it and its overdue
