Every time you cut your nails cut a V in the middle of the nail, it allows the nail to grow toward the center versus into the side of the nail bed, that's for everyone but Poirot, that fag deserves all the pain he can get...

I got one been fighting for years, on one my big toes. have to cut it back about once a month.

Got mine operated on about 3 months ago and still not totally healed, it was a fucking bitch to recover. The worst part of the procedure was the injections to numb the toe, first couple hurt like hell, after that no problem. The next day tho the pain was bad and hurt for weeks. Took about a month for the pain to subside. Toe got infected and oozed puss for weeks. Toenail is still growing back.

Now I have another one on the other big toe which I've been cutting back myself. That surgery was a motherfucker so not wanting to go thru that again.

You could end up with blood poisoning/sepsis. Go get that thing fixed up. It will cost less than a couple hundred at any Dr. Office. Family Dr. will do it. I had mine cut out and acid burned. Sometimes it does not kill the nail root. If it comes back get it done again. Never had to go back more than twice and that was only on one big toe.

Go to a different Dr. They messed up. That should heal up in no more than 5 to 7 days. Pain should be minimal.

Yeah that's not normal.

My daughter and wife used to get them very bad but they had the procedure done where they cut out the ingrown nail part and put some kind of liquid on that area so the nail won't grow back.

They were good in a few days and haven't had another ingrown in years

I had one as a teenager... I ripped the nail completely out.

now it grows all fungus like and I can literally peel the nail off without blood. It’s weird. But the v in the middle does work. At least it did for my other foots big toe. So far.
