But women voted for Trump in 2016, remember. In fact, white women went for Trump by 2% or so. In the same way that Evangelicals were able to overwhelmingly support him. They just completely ignored the character issue.
A lot of the people who voted for him would never, say, leave their daughter alone in a room with him.
As for the black vote, it was their slump in turn-out in 2016 that helped Trump win. Despite the fact that they ensured Hillary's victory in the primary over Bernie, mainly in Southern states that weren't even going to vote Blue. Ugh.
In any case, these pattern won't repeat themselves in 2020. We no longer have the Hillary Factor, a huge negative. And we no longer have the "Trump can't possibly win" factor. So yeah, I think he's gonna be crushed and it'll be a fascinating shitshow in this forum here.
