    Ideas for carbs pre and post workout

    I keep all my carbs except 50g pre and post workout only. Cream of rice, pineapple, rice and honey as of now. I will eventually add either Thomas or Ezekiel English muffins. Any input on which one to go with? Also wondering if anyone else has any ideas? I have the option of ceral, but trying to stay with whole foods. Yes, ceral taste good, but I know the older generation never messed around with it lol

    1/2 serving of oatmeal w honey pre-workout. Dextrose post workout. Sweet potatos during the day. Goal pending. Works for me...

    Slow digesting carbs pre and fast post trainning.

    I like sweet potatoes pre and rice post trainning.

    I'll do rice or sweet potatoes about 1.5hrs before my workout then I'll do some dextrose with my post shake. I normally smash a few gummy bears in the locker room but dextrose powder in the shake works too. If you're on a fat kid bulk, some of the orange tampico with vanilla protein powder tastes like an orange popsicle. I see a lot of people smashing rice cakes post workout but I haven't tried that yet. I figure the dextrose works faster.

    I have my clients eat cereal post workout all the time.

    Main thing to think about is digestibility. If it digests easily, give it a whirl.

    How many carbs are they consuming power workout? I assume there eating rice krispies or rice chex only?

    All depends.

    Some guys get 200g some get 500.
