Yeah. Evern though it's not failure that first set should take a big chunk out of energy and strength.

Yup. I rarely if ever hit the same number of reps on my second loading set.

everything and nothing until the recovery times between the first and second series are mentioned
 
Meals today. Sorry was pretty busy with work today. No training today will be back at it tomorrow. GH still hasn’t arrived. I guess fedex lost it but hopefully will have it soon.

leg press mid stance RP - 18plates 7, 5, 5

Lying leg curls RP - 140lbs 10, 7, 5

Leg ext. RP - 225lbs 9, 7, 6

Adductor 295lbs 15, 15

Standing Calf raises RP - 135lbs 9,7, 6
2nd set RP - 135lbs 8, 6, 6

DB curls 2 sets 24 reps alternating every 4 reps 50lbs

Reverse pec deck 165lbs 15,12

V bar press down 210lbs 15, 15

I don't give a fuck of Phil Heath himself is there. Basing the show and class you do on who is gonna be there is cowardly and lame.

I certainly hope you are not saying I am cowardly or lame. Unlike you, I don't quit. Ever. I would rather die than fail. I have gotten very sick during my prep almost every time. Twice required hospitalization. I went from the hospital to the stage 3 days later on 2 separate occasions. My blood pressure was 180 over 120. The docs tried to 51/50 me but I got out. At the South West the guy who won the overall was also in the hospital. He has a medical condition (he was stabbed in the heart).

My wife left me during my prep for the Southwest USA. It did not phase me. I was sick, the stomach acid from vomiting ate my carpet away.

So yeah, you are not in a position to judge me

Now here comes the part where you threaten to ban me.

To the OP: You need to know these things. Prepping for a show is probably one of, if not the hardest things you will ever do. It will tax you in every way possible.

Why go through all this if you are not prepping to win? My attitude is always that I am going to win, I don't care who is standing next to me.

It is good to keep track of everything...to a point. Training, drugs, diet, it all requires analysis. We compile page after page of detailed analysis of our diets, drugs, and training. However you guys are missing the most important thing: Mindset. Guys who do well this sport do not obsess over their diet training and drugs. The find what works and stick with it.

They are a Gorilla in the gym and then a rat on the treadmill. Your mindset must be that, nothing else matters....only training, eating, and injecting. When you wake up your attitude must be 100% comitted to your goal of winning.

You cannot be saddled with anything that interferes with your prep.

If you are not 100% committed to the above then you should not compete.

Weekly check-in today. Had a busy weekend so didn’t get around to it. Weight went up but I had two cheat meals this weekend. Don’t tell coach . So my current weight is 249.6. Im guessing that will come back down a little this week we will see. Having Lower Loading B today. Looking forward to kicking some ass and killing these twigs today.
