Midnight Special on netflix. Good scifi movie with some familiar faces. Young child has "powers" and family/friends try to protect him. It's not an over the top superhero movie though.

"Avengement" on netflix. One of the best ass-kicking movies I've ever watched. The british accents were a bit tough at times, but my deaf ass keeps the subtitles on 90% of the time anyway. Seriously good, hard hitting, no BS fighting. 5 star flick. You'll catch yourself with clenched fists watching it.

Here's a nice double feature if you have a long evening.

"Snowden". This movie really is a must watch. EVERY single US citizen should watch this movie. Period. It's 2 hrs, but it didn't seem like it. Movie went very quick and left you wanting more.

"Haywire". This is to keep the spy movie feeling going. And let your brain turn off and enjoy some eye candy. TONS of faces in this one. Every major part is played by a big star. Plus Gina Carano in the lead role. I could watch her paint a wall for an hour and half and be entertained.

I watched snowden just the other day and was thinking about how accurate it was with the way they do things and if im not mistaken it was based on true events from a real person.

100% based on actual events. That's why it is important to watch. I followed along when it was ongoing, but given the number of years, much of it was a refresher for me. At the time, they were treating him like he was the #1 most wanted traitor (not surprisingly, given what he did). It's a real eye opener for all those people who think they are anonymous, being safe, etc.
