Netflix Reviews and Recommendations

The Haunting of Hill House on netflix is really, REALLY good! We've only got a couple of episodes left.

My wife been watching “your pretty little face is going to hell” on either Netflix or hbo max or something. I’ve caught glimpses of it and it does seem amusing. It definitely makes her crack open a belly laugh here and there.
 
This new Dahmer Netflix series isn't half bad if you're into the whole serial killer thing. It seems like the "it" thing for girls nowadays.
 
I did watch Me Time and thought it was awful. Had moments but overall a waste of time. For me it was

Also the new Thor love and thunder was mediocre. Was probably the 3rd best out of the 4. GNR better have made a boatload of monies for the soundtrack. One of the few bright spots.

We watched the first episode last night. Seems like they have pretty good actors playing the roles. And the writing seems ok so far.

We're kinda kicking off the halloween season though, so lots of scary things here lately.

I love this time of year. Atleast the shows and movies. I’m waiting for the new Halloween movie to come out.

I won't spoil but it definitely picks up around episode 3.

I was never the spooky type but my son loves all the things that go bump in the night so I'm slowly being converted 🤣

Thanks. I was pretty iffy about it, because I don't usually "enjoy" watching man's inhumanity to man. But there is something about cannibalism that is hard to look away from. Silence of the Lambs wouldn't have been nearly as popular if it weren't for the people eating.
 
Just watched Sweet Girl. Was good overall and that's all I will say other than... The lead female FBI agent is sexy sexy sexy. I'm a big fan....

just watched "wrath of man" its was pretty good, I dont know how many more times they can spin the same concept, 1 guy thats a badass goes on a lone war against the villain of the movie
 
We watched "no one sleeps alone in the woods tonight 2" on netflix. The first one was so-so, but worth the watch. The second one was better. They totally embraced the "let's be campy, funny, stupid" and made a pretty dang good monster movie sequel. The sex scene alone was worth the watch. It will make you question what you're into.
 
Is this on anyone's to watch list? It's a A24 movie so it could be very interesting/disturbing.
 
I haven't found too many Netflix shows that do much for me. I do enjoy stand up comedy though. I have always been a big fan of Fluffy (Gabriel Iglesias). When I saw he had a new special out I couldn't wait. That special was a 2 hour flop of boredom. Fluffy recently went through a breakup and that has affected him in a big way. Everything about him is enduring emotional pain, and you can see it.

I watch every music documentary.
I think I have covered all of the bodybuilding documentaries.
 
I just started watching a tv show on Netflix it’s called “ cabinet of curiosity’s “ if you’re into weird horror shit this is it. Each episode is a different story. They’re like 40-45 min long. Awsome though. Totally worth the watch for my fellow weird horror freaks out there

I agree. I do like horror however my girl doesn’t. So I very rarely get to throw it on… around Halloween time usually. But I really enjoyed the Cabinets of curiosities 👍👍
 

I'm a degenerate that has seen and enjoyed all the Transformers movies for what they are. Even the last knight. Strange since I didn't like them as a kid lol. I will see this one as well
 
If you have HBOmax , there is a great show called “Banshee” . Alan Ball is the Multiple Academy Award Winner screenplay writer who made : American Beauty, Six Feet Under, True Blood, and more. The series is f’n awesome !
4 seasons and the lead actor is “Homelander” from Amazon’s “The Boys”.

It’s great! Sex, Drugs, violence, gangs, mafia, very graphic full nudity, great drama ! I don’t know why I’d never heard of it but, it’s got me hooked ! Had a few family members tell me “you gotta watch this series!” (they loved it and know what I like). I’m on season 1 (almost
Finished), great for couples to watch together.
They don’t censor anything like some of these shows now that avoid topics or are scared to
offend groups . Refreshing

Watched Bullet Train the other day. It was okay overall I guess. It doesn't draw you into the story. It Missed opportunities for more involved story building with the characters. A few characters were potentially bad ass. Tangerine was my favorite character in the movie. It's not a definite must watch in my professional opinion.
 
New season of Alice in Borderland just dropped. I liked it better than Squid Game. Check it out

The lady wanted to watch Black Adam yesterday. I could care less but did. Mediocre overall. Had ok moments but nothing special. I wish it was set in the timeframe that the movie began in. The bright spot was the character Cyclone... Mmmmm deliciously sexy.
