Iíll tell you what I tried and it worked for me .
Hawthorne Berry double what the bottle saids . If it said take 1 tablet a day , I take 2 in the a.m. and 2 in the p.m. !
But you have to play around with the dosing. That worked for me and now all I do is 2 post workout or before bed.
I also take and cut up 1 clove of garlic every nite and swallow it down . That works for me as well.
Those 2 combined helped me , but as a lot have said , everyone is different . Try out some of the suggestions and see what works for you.

Carditone did nothing for me. Same as hawthorne berry extract celery seed extract beet extract fish oil helps only while cruising but as soon as I'm like 6 weeks into a blast BOOM 160/75.

Well I'm getting back into lifting again after a long break. I was looking at this thread to try and find a way to get my bp down while on gear. All I was able to find was my bp levels going up after reading all this. Did find a few things to look into tho. So thanks for that atleast.

Either that, or Carditone just hates me. But what did I ever do to it to deserve its hatred?

Is that lower number right? A pulse pressure of 85 (160-75=85) is very, very high (40 is normal).

Interesting (although I'd still like to know what sort of reductions you saw across those 5 persons). Thanks.

We have had two in this very thread with no response to it.

I am currently reducing my blood pressure by lowering dosages (test down to 100 mg a week now) and cardio and restricted calories. I will also use blood pressure medicine if and how needed.

138/76 this morning. Obviously not perfect, but it was 168/108 two weeks ago. That was the last day I injected anything for ten days. Donated blood. Hit intense fasted cardio every morning. Took some blood pressure meds to get it quickly into the 145/90 range.

Resumed 50 mg test twice a week.

    Keeping diet better and exercise.

Fasting - I read several studies on fasting - apparently 3 weeks of water only brings blood pressure down more than 10 diastolic and systolic. All the studies I could find appeared to be obese persons. What was even more remarkable was the change on other markers. ALL of these fatties failed oral glucose tolerance tests, but after the three weeks, 88% of them passed it, and the group included persons who had already become diabetic. What was even more remarkable was the BMI of these persons was still 40 (dropped from 45), but all of their markers (triglycerides, lipids, etc.) went from bad to the normal range.

Anyway, not willing to try this yet, because of the muscle mass I would lose, especially on only 100 mg a week of testosterone.

Intermittent fasting did not have the same effect (I checked, all hopeful).

Shorter fasts (48-72 hours) did bring blood pressure down by about 6 (as opposed to the 10 in the three week study).

There are lots of suggestions in this very thread. Mine is at post #11. Athlete 126 and Montego1 also have suggestions, as does REHH, for things that worked for them personally (REHH) or worked for some others (Monte - 5, Athlete126 THOUSANDS - not making fun, that's how he wrote it). I am sure I missed a few other suggestions.

Give some of them a try and see what works.

Post your results here so others looking for the same fix can learn from your experience. There are lots of steroid users experiencing high blood pressure and wanting a way to control it. High blood pressure can damage the kidneys (a number one sort of illness for IFBB pros) and the eyes, and it gets harder to control each year as you age.

I always take 1 baby aspirin at night when I'm running anything. It's supposed to lower bp.
