Actually going to Monterey. Mostly going to escape the heat and relax for a bit. Got a cool room at a Victorian B&B right on the beach. I can't wait man I'm WAY overdue

I love beaches man, just hearing the ocean break is worth the cost of admission ...ENJOY.

Today went great. first day of stationary bike cardio and damm I got winded fast af. If you're not doing cardio you need to be at least EOD, period.

HS iso lateral pulldowns 2 WU. 4 heavy working sets to failure
Wide rows 4 heavy sets to failure
DB rows 4 heavy sets to failure

bent over rear DB laterals for posteriors - heavy partials for 4 sets
heavy DB laterals medials - john meadows partial reps for 4 heavy sets

front squat machine 4 sets 20 reps each not heavy but I could feel it in my quads with no ankle pain!! progresssss.

I love John man, He's my class of people.. I would totally hang with that guy. He's humble.

When you use partials, do you clean with with some drop sets full range??

Yes, I',m glad you asked, today my shoulders did not need a full ROM after that back workout they were already on fire... so today I did just the partials. however, If I train shoulders first, then hell yes, I would use a moderate weight DB for the full ROM, I also superset them some static resistance (lightweight db) to get that blood in there for the full pump and to mitigate the risk of injury

I'm sure it is in this log somewhere, are you shooting for 33% each macro 1/3, 1/3, 1/3 FCB?

Great question. No it's actually not written anywhere, lol I'm not boxed into a macros ratio.

I'll explain... I met my summer goals of getting lean in my other log- then, I hurt my ankle, at that point, my goal was to just to stay in shape. I lost some size due to the calorie reduction and loss of gym time, the muscle atrophy was expected...but it sucks.

ATM, I've added back all of those calories, the gym time, the intensity is increasing so the quality gym time is getting there, lol. I'm currently putting back some of the size, (while staying relatively lean) I lost and I am making small adjustments EOD or so as I see fit.

Sorry for the novel long ass answer, the short answer is *no, I'm not* haha

So, why did you reduce calories? Just to stay leaner with less activity?

Itís like the paper you put on the pan so you donít get grease everywhere. I donít know man, I havenít had bacon in awhile. Just reminiscing about the time I made a batch of bacon in the oven. It was heaven.
