    Remembering Big Lou

It's been a year ago today that this forum lost one of it's most awesome members, and I personally lost my best online friend. Always helpful, always respectful, had great insight, and looked up to by many including myself.

I miss you Lou, there probably isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about you. This forum was your home, and it really has fallen into disarray after you left us. I bet you're looking down from that big gym up in the sky, and shaking your head in disbelief, and then laughing at the stupidity. LOL

Yes Big Lou was a true gentleman and always always always represented the best of what this board had to offer. It was easy to see the true person he was thru all his helpful , courteous , respectful and informative posts. Def considered him a friend. Hope his family is coping with not having him around. Def was a example of how we should all conduct ourselves here.

I think it would make him proud that there are still some brothers here that carry on following his example as a human.

Yes Lou will be greatly missed. He helped a ton of people on this board including me. He is with God now in heaven, laughing at all the not bigs curling in the squat rack down here. RIP Lou, you were truly an example to all.

About 6 months after he kicked heroin addiction he was diagnosed with mantle cell lymphoma, a very rare form of blood cancer. He was given 3 to 6 years to live....that was 10 years ago so he beat the odds. He continued to train and use steroids. One of his doctors felt AAS was what kept him strong and coping. He suffered mainly the last two weeks.

I never met the man. We pm'd quite a lot for over a year, then started having Saturday phone chats that usually were 2 hours long. He was a blast to talk to! When it was apparent the end was near we spoke nearly every evening until the night his wife called me and said hospice had come. He died the next day.

Lou really was an awesome guy. When I was still figuring out the ropes he PM's me just to tell me he liked what I had to say and that I was on the right track. Class act. I miss that guy.

Didn't big Lou hold the record for like the highest total test numbers on ay's gear? Seems like I remember it being like over 30k or something like that. Lol sorry if confusing him with someone else.

    RIP Big Lou

He was at 9,900ng/dl on roughly 1.25grams wk. It was an odd mix of AY TIPP, TPA, and some Watson.

The highest I ever saw for AY gear was buildingup 's labs came back showing >10,000ng/dl on a gram a week.

Particularly the loud mouth, stupid, dick measuring keyboard warriors here now......... That said, he would focus on how many good, pre-2015, knowledge sharing members that are still here.

    RIP Big Guy
