Hey everyone I am new here but have been reading the forums for a couple of months now. I just started working out again after 7 years being lazy. I am 50 years old and have lost 40 lbs in the last 5-6 months I workout 4 times a week and interval train 15 mins 4-5 times a week, I eat very clean and 1500 cals a day ..... I went to the Doctor 4 months ago for ED problems and he had my blood tested said I had high Cholesterol, high triglycerides and borderline normal test levels. He asked how I felt. I told him tired lethargic and obviously my Ed problem. I had heard of TRT from reading on line about my Ed problem so I asked about it for me and he refused he doesn't like the idea he told me it is just part of getting older and I have to live with it. I live in Ontario he is our family doc and has always done right by my family and I so I dont really want to try to change doctor, plus it is very hard to find a doctor willing to take on new patients. He did send me to a urologist who gave me script for cialis and doc put me on Crestor.

Ok finally to my question I have no energy, week as F$#K and cannot seem to get below 20% body fat. I would actually like to bulk up. I have never done a cycle but would like to try

Dbol 1-4 weeks 25 mgs per day to kick start
test e 1-12 weeks 250 mgs 2 times a week

then after week 12 could I just drop down to 100-200 mgs test cypionate and cruise

Any advice would be great, hope this was not to much of a rant just trying to be as informative as possible

Most doc's that accepts insurance won't treat you unless you take 2 blood work before 10am 1week apart and both test level has to be below normal. At least that's my experience.

Or go to TRT clinic and pay out of pocket. Some TRT clinics takes insurance but they don't let you pin at home. That's how that make their money. Or after how ever many weeks will let you pin at home but charge you out of poket.

Edit: both my comments above are based on my experience only.

TRT clinic that I goto is awesome. I pay $139.99 month for test cyp/prop blend, Aromasin, HcG and as many consultation with doc as needed. However I am responsible for paying for blood work or add another $20 a month and TRT clinic covers bloods.

I also get cialis thru them.

thanks for the reply Placebo . I am in Ontario Canada it is Doctors are covered with our provincial government and I don't think we have TRT clinics here we have to be referred to a specialist from our family Doctor

Please tell us more about this diet. What are your macros, protein, fats, carbs? Are you including what you drink? Do you drink or eat artificial sweeteners? What do you actually eat and drink to get those calories?1500 is not very much.

How hard and heavy are you lifting? For example, give us an idea of what you do for your quads and hamstrings.

As for the TRT, in the US, I would say "Go to another doctor." I have no idea how that works in Canada, though, eh.

It took me whole year to find an Endocrinologist who finally put me on some Test Cyp. My PCP would only give me Androgel and the patches.

That is where you tell him to fuck off and find a real doctor.

As for your 1500 calories a day.. That's... Not helping your test levels at all.

At 40 my levels were at 500 and my doc said the same thing, "deal with it". Look for another doc or try a TRT clinic, if your insurance will pay. Mine wouldn't and it clinic was going to charge me almost $600 a month. If that doesn't work, read, educate yourself, and take care of it yourself.

At 22 mine were at 360 something and a TRT clinic told me no lol. So I took care of it myself 4 years later.

15 minutes and $50 later your problem can be solved by any source on this board.

Please read and follow the board rules.

Get a new doctor man, takes a while to find a good one, hell some never will find a good one but when you do its awesome. They actually give a shit about you and how you feel. Not rushing to get you out of the room etc. Took me many years to find my doc but im so greatful for her. She does alll she can to make sure every aspect of my life and health is perfect.

Agreed, find a new Doc. Look for a younger one when searching, they seem to be more open to TRT.

if you get a TRT doctor, then you should get a script no problem since that is exactly what you are paying for. as for as lethargy goes you have two problems, your overweight so that will make you tired and you are dieting which will also make you extremely lethargic. I'm the worst with dieting but I can tell you that if you are a 3 meal person like me you need to carry around energy boosting snacks to eat between meals. I usually eat 1 or 2 apples and bananas in the morning to hold me over till lunch, and usually a protien shake after lunch before I get out of work. keep in mind that it takes 1.5 - 2 hours to digest a meal. this may not work for you but when I had a 9-5 job it helped me to have something to snack on with me since the only break i got was lunch

Being tierd could mean so many things for example my cousin recently was tierd all the time he saw doc checked his blood turns out he has a vitamin D deficency..

I agree with everyone on here. First off, I'm in the process as we speak, I'm drawing my 3 and final bloods for testosterone for 3 weeks in a row. EVERYONE on here always preaches about "Finding" a good doctor. First off, how the fuck are you going to do that. It takes years to find one and sooner if you're lucky. What you need to do is follow the protocol and get your bloods drawn 3 consecutive times in a row. And when you start doing that, start looking at Endo's and Urologists in your "Network". Call each one of them, and honestly ask the receptionist if you can talk to a MA. Get a good idea of what they do and ask about TRT. Going through Endo's fucking suck, but it's a process and you just have to deal with it. If you want it legal and Fast, go with an Online HRT Clinic. There's a ton of them. You will have to pay though. If you want it Legal and Cheap and most likely a hell of a headache then go the through your GP to and ENDO. If your doc has a suggestion and refers you to someone you don't care for. Just talk to your GP and tell them, that you either, don't feel comfortable with that person, or that the doc is out of your network. Just tell them whom you are looking at. It doesn't matter, because a referral is a referral. Also about your energy levels, like stated above before, it could be a million things. To start out, it could be Low T, Low Vitamin D, Iron Deficiency, Low Ferritin, sleep disorders, your cortisol, your stress, diet and about a million other things. I would first off start taking a Natural B-Complex and Vitamin D. That's the first thing, then step back, take an honest outside look at your current habits, sleeping, eating....etc. It will make a world of difference if you can start sleeping right. I have been sleeping better now than I have in the last 15 years. I don't watch TV about an hour before bed and put that fucking I-phone down. It'll do you wonders....

RoidsR4m3, that is was awesome analysis.
Most people just want to hear the quick and easy way and that just might not be the best way for them. If you're new to this TRT stuff, please read his comment twice as it really could save you health wise which leads to money wise as well. Thank you for your honest and educated info RoidsR4m3.

Directed at page 1: Placebo:

I just started TRT and am paying $195/mo. which includes: 200mg Test Cyp./wk - 1mg Arimidex/wk. and 500U of HCG 2x/wk. My initial lab I pay for and then the others are included. Which one do you use? I hear Aromasin is better than Arimidex but on 200mg/week of T-Cyp. does it really matter?.. I'm just getting back to normal T levels.. tested at 352 age 48. Let me know the clinic you use. Also I can pin at home and they send you all the syringes, Bac Water for HCG,. etc.

I think this is key in finding a sympathetic Doc, My doc is from my wife's women clinic. Women docs seem to be more in tune with hormone replacement since women have been doing it since the 50's. The 60 year old grey haired prick who hasn't gotten a CEU (education credit) in 20 years ain't worth giving your money too, IMO....:coffee:
