IML Gear Cream!
Now that the holidays are over I'm hoping to start a little more up to date on my log. Currently I'm winding down the last few weeks of my bulk. I don't have hard stats yet but once I can say I've hit my cruise dose then I'll get some hard numbers. I'd say at the very least this has been the leanest bulk I've ever done. I still have striations in my quads, you can see the split in my bicep and most days I have ok an definition. I tend to carry my fat in my torso. All of my lifts have progressed during this time as well. I've had very few injuries, some lower back soreness here and there but overall feel pretty healthy. Now the plan is to work my way down to a cruise dose of 300 mg weekly of test then stick with that for 8 weeks and get some bloodwork done. If things look good try another bulk, if I still need to clear some stuff up possibly lower dose and cruise longer. Before the covid pandemic I was hoping to compete this year. However I'm unsure of when I will feel like things are consistent enough to plan a prep. All the back and forth with limiting and then not limiting gym time won't work for me. I know when I prep I have to do 2 a days and really put the work in. Worrying about the gym becoming restricted again won't work for me. I'm hoping come the summer time I can possibly start looking at a show later in the year.

I've decided to be better about updating my log more often. With working from home and having my daughter I've had less free time. But I really just haven't been using time management skills. Since my last update I've continued my transition into a cruise phase. My plans is to run 300 mg test e weekly along with as little AI as possible to control estrogen. I plan to get blood work done and if numbers are within the ranges I'm comfortable with I'd like to plan another growth phase soon. I'm currently using 400 mg this week so next week will be the first cruise week. Training wise I'm doing a deload week just to recover a bit. Last week a stomach bug went thru the whole household and it was terrible. So a week to take it easier in the gym makes sense to me. After this week I'm right back into the same workouts pushing for more weight. Nutrition wise keeping things consistent except I'm going to cut out a few desserts and some carbs to hopefully stay lean on a lower dosage. I may need to add cardio back in to help with blood markers but I'll make that decision when needed. Lastly just a huge thank you to PSL for their on going support and being such a trusted vendor with great quality. All my enhanced clients use PSL and I always hear good things.

Very happy to be back lifting heavy. The deload week is needed but not fun. Training has been spot on, everything is still progressing and in most workouts I'm hitting at least 1 if not multiple PRs. I'm down to my cruise dose of 300 mg Test E weekly from PSL. I'm trying something new with my estrogen control as I'd like to test my lipid profile in 4-6 weeks and AI can have an effect so I'm trying to use as little as possible. I'll be using tamoxifen at 20 mg every other day paired with 10 mg Aromasin every 3rd day. I've also had a flare up of gyno, I've always had some from puberty. Its grown a bit during my aas usage as well. It looks like I may have the ability to get it removed so definitely looking to get that done this off season. The goal right now is get blood work in order to feel comfortable doing another blast.

Nice! Hopefully your new regimen controls your estro and keep any gyno flare ups away. If I take anything, I always take the same time on the dot .

Cheers

As part of my cruise I want to clean up my lipid profile a bit. To do this I wanted someone I believe to be an expert to give me recommendations. Daunte Trudel helped me put together a 6 week plan to achieve a better lipid profile. So this last week I ordered the correct supplements and changed up my diet based on his guidelines. I'm now on 100 grams of carbs or less and have increased my intake of fat and protein. My goal is to still add muscle during this time. I see do reason I can't progress with 300 test e weekly and a high fat diet. I'm waiting for everything to arrive so that I can start. I will definitely post bloodwork results once I have them. Overall everything has been progressing well all my main lifts are going up weekly and have had to switch things out due to stagnation. Weight is up to 242 and my goal is 250 at my current leanness. If I could reach that while cruising I'd be very happy. Yesterday was also my birthday so I can now officially compete in the masters division. I'm actually excited a bit for that because it gives another possible route to a pro card.

Nothing to big since last update. Even though I'm only on 300 mg test e weekly all of my main lifts are still increasing. However I have hit a sticking point on wait. I seem to be stuck between 242-243. I'm slowly increasing my calories to remedy it. I'm still going lower carb (100 or less most days) but increasing my fats and protein. I am the leanest I've ever been at this weight. One new item is I may have the ability to have surgery to remove my gyno along with the gland. I've always wanted this surgery, I've had pre pubescent gyno for as long as I can remember. Definitely excited at the possibility.

Everything is progressing nicely the last couple weeks. I'm still following my low carb high fat diet to hopefully improve my lipid profile. I'm at the half way point and still adding calories weekly. I've also scheduled a surgery date in July for gyno removal. It's going to cost me more than I originally thought but it's going to be worth it. This last week I threw in deadlifts for my 2nd pull day. Usually I stick to my set workouts but once in awhile I just do whatever I feel like. So felt like trying deadlifts. For my top set I pulled 455 for 6 reps. Not sure how that is comparable to most but for me that is definitely a pr and I plan trying to deadlift a little more often. My back was sore in the right places the day after.

It’s been hectic since my last update and had some things take me off course for a little bit. However, I am back on my grind. I received another touchdown from PSL (pic included). I also got back my bloodwork (comparison pics included). Most of my numbers improved except for HDL which stayed the same. Honestly, I was hoping for some better results, but I’ll take it. My plan is to take the next 8 weeks and do a mini cut. The surgeon told me the leaner I can be on surgery day the better results I will have from my Gyno surgery. So, surgery is early July and I’ve updated my plan with the current changes:
Switched to a small calorie deficit
Still lifting 4 days a week however took off a little total volume per day
Adding in cardio each of the 4 training days (2 HIIT, 2 steady state)
500 mg sust weekly, 120 mg Tren E weekly
After 8 weeks cutting, I’ll re-try the supplement regimen for my bloodwork. However, this time I will reduce test to 200 mg weekly (instead of 300), I’ll keep cardio in & I’ll run it for 8 weeks instead of 6 before getting bloodwork again. Once everything is healed up and I am a full go in the gym I will begin to make plans and look for what show I may want to do in 2022. If I win my class I plan on trying for a Masters pro card in 2022 as well.

Get Shredded!
So this update is hard to write because in retrospect I can see all my errors. I got back in touch with Dante and he was not happy with my bloodwork. He isn't my coach but I trust his opinion. He challenged me to radically change my diet. Which I can see that I was eating too much bacon, too much fast and convenience food, steak daily and some other poor choices. My conditioning looked good and I seemed to be adding muscle. Which those things can happen while still on a diet plan that's not very healthy. So if made the changes, switched back to lean chicken, steak is maybe weekly, no bacon for the last 2 weeks, no fast food the last 2 weeks, got my fiber up to 50+ grams per day and some other health changes. My plan is to stick with this nutrition moving forward indefinitely. However I plan to get another lipid panel in 3-4 months depending on recovery from gyno surgery. I have the pre-op for that in 3 weeks and I'm getting more excited for the surgery. Not quite sure when it got out of hand these last 2 years but looking forward to the look of my physique after. I've lost a little over 3 lbs the last 2 weeks with minor changes and as I get leaner the gyno shows thru more so just a constant reminder to be vigilant to any warning signs after. Lastly I sent my deposit this week to secure a prep spot with Team Skip. For my last 2-3 preps I've used skip loading with good success now I'm going to work with the creator and learn first hand what I did right and what I did wrong and hopefully bring my best package ever to the stage.

Since the last update everything has been going well. I'm down to 236 with noticeably more definition. I think the surgeon will be happy. However it has also made the gyno more prominent as I get leaner which is a hard pill to swallow. But I'm definitely looking forward to getting it removed, 22 days and counting. I do plan on taking before and after pics no matter how embarrassing. I really feel the most growth of the gyno has happened within the last 2 years. Now the only thing I can think of is the times I added in orals, but even then I'm not sure. I've always tried to keep estrogen in check but I think that has even been to my own detriment because I've used higher dosages of AI which doesn't help lipids. All in all with the improved diet, getting gyno removed, dropping test to 200 after surgery and being able to just use Tamoxifen should hopefully set me up for a good lipid panel once I spend 8-12 weeks after surgery.

I also gave my deposit to Skip to secure a competition spot with him next year. So I have to do what's necessary to get things in check so I can compete next year.

You’ll get it all in check , get the surgery , and be all good marvel! Cheers and Good Luck! Always part of the game for some and it does suck But, fixable! You always look great!

Tomorrow is my surgery date, I'm definitely more excited than nervous. However tomorrow that could change. I'm not looking forward to two weeks out of the gym but it's necessary and I'm looking at it as a deload. Even once I go back I won't be able to jump right into high intensity but I’ll still do my best to challenge myself while recovering. This week I'm running 325 sust for the week and next week I'll be down to 200 mg weekly and I will start taking Nolvadex daily. The plan is to keep those dosages for 4 weeks then get my testosterone and e2 tested. Once I get numbers on that I can decide what to do from there. The continued goal is to have the best bloodwork with my improved nutrition, hrt test dosage and the least harmful serm/AI. Attached are before pics of gyno.

This update will focus on my gyno removal surgery up to today which is basically 3 weeks post op. When doing the surgery, I had the options of local anesthesia or going under. I chose the local to save money, if you have the extra, I will say going under would make this surgery a breeze. However, the local is doable but there are some pitfalls. Before the surgery when they administer the local to the area the first few shots of the needle are painful but manageable. After a few shots you start to feel it less and less but there is always a least a little sensation. Then you wait for the shots to really kick in. I chose to listen to music to help pass the time. My surgery was a bit over 90 mins start to finish. Most of the time I could feel pressure, moving parts and just a general sense of what was going on. However, there were multiple points on each side where the local anesthesia level was either not high enough or not in there. I did need to get more shots to numb those areas. This generally came after a sharp intense bit of pain. I’m not sure of the actual took that was used but when the nerves in a specific area were not numbed enough, I knew it. I’d say combined I was in double digits for the number of times I felt it. After one side I asked if we could preemptively add more to the side he was about to start working on. That wasn’t possible because the idea is to use as little as possible and there is a max amount, I could receive so we only wanted to add it to specific areas when I felt pain. The post op nurse did make a comment to me that she was impressed for only using local. After removing as much as possible from each side they sewed up my nipple area and added drains. You also get fitted with a vest or compressions garment which is key to keeping swelling down. While your drains are in you take antibiotics and must check and measure your drains every 12 hours. I was able to get off pain killers the 3rd day after surgery and I wore my vest for about 95% of time after the surgery up till my 1-week post op where the drain was removed. Then at 2 weeks out I started lifting again but no direct pec work, so I also avoid machines that are chest supported. Even after I stopped wearing the vest, I chose to wear some compression shirts, for me this wasn’t for swelling or anything, but the nipple area was still very sensitive to fabric on it. Now approaching my 3 weeks out I only wear compression shirt while working out or if the shirt I’m wearing seems to be causing discomfort. I imagine by week 4 post op I will only be wearing the shirts for working out. I haven’t noticed a decline yet in my training except I am choosing more machines as to not have to lift plates. Once I hit my 6 weeks, I’ll go back to my previous training program. I also have a 6 week post op appointment and will be doing a 6 month post op from what I understand. Knowing what I know now I would totally still do the removal. Even with the pain during surgery and some of the small uncomfortable inconveniences during recovery I feel so much better about my physique. It was worth it for me. Now I already have a plan to get my test and E2 checked a little after 4 weeks post op, then plan is to be way more accurate with my estrogen control. However, if anything were to come back, they will fix it for free so that is a weight off my shoulders as well. Currently running 200 mg sust weekly along with 30 mg Nolva daily. I will adjust up or down or even to a stronger AI once I get numbers from bloodwork.

Very interesting and informative! Awesome post

Since my last update things have been going well. My nipple sensitivity is definitely decreasing, I no longer need to wear a compression shirt. I'm using some scar cream for the incisions and overall I'm still very happy I did the surgery. Honestly I feel a lot more confident in my physique and less insecurity for sure. I'm still running 200 mg sust weekly with 30 mg Nolvadex daily. I have a blood draw appointment on Friday. This will test my e2 and testosterone level. After I get numbers I will adjust as necessary to keep e2 in the mid to low normal physiological range and test in the higher range of normal. If that looks good then everything stays the same for another 4 weeks or so. Then I'll get my lipid panel done. If things have improved and look good I plan on doing another blast cycle. As for right now things are still progressing in workouts so I hope muscle is still being added, just not as fast as when I'm on higher dosages. Unfortunately I do have another possible surgery, my plastic surgeon noticed a naval hernia. I have an upcoming appointment to get it checked and possibly schedule to get that fixed soon. If that is needed it should be the last obstacle I need to handle to then focus fully on returning to the stage in 2022, hopefully. I say hopefully because sometimes life gets in the way. So we'll see . . .

Since my last update I got some blood work done for my test level and estrogen. I decided early on if my test level was in the top quartile I would leave my dosage alone and if estrogen was off I would switch to a stronger AI. On 200 mg of sust weekly my test level is at 1168 so just over the top of normal range. Honestly I was surprised by this. So I won't be making any changes but I also know I can lower the dosage to be in a normal physiological range is needed. My estrogen however was 82 which is way higher than I want it to be. Daunte suggested anything over 75 is high. I was using 30 mg Nolvadex daily, after getting my results I immediately switched to micro dosing aromasin as Daunte suggested. I'll continue the same sust and aromasin dosing for another 4 weeks or so. At which time I will get a lipid panel and get my estrogen tested again with the micro dosing protocol.

As for everything else nutrition is going well, I'm slowly increasing my daily calories. Training is continuing to progress and I'm getting PR's weekly. I've also been able to start training pecs again and I'm learning new ways to train chest without solely relying on heavy weight due to my multiple pec tears.

Nothing much to update on, I'm continuing my 200 mg weekly. My nutrition is still 80% clean and my weight is slowly going up while my leanness is holding. Next week I'll get my blood draw for a lipid panel. If everything looks better I'll plan on starting a blast asap. I'd love to get 1 blast cycle in before my hernia surgery. Once I'm able to get back in the gym after it I'll be starting prep within a couple weeks. Looking forward to competing next year, but my body needed this health phase and I needed to improve my nutrition.

I received a new lipid profile and I can definitely say I'm very happy. All of my numbers in improved, some more drastic than others. HDL is usually hard for me to raise but even that goy up to 30. I checked my notes and I haven't seen 30 since 2018. Daunte like the results as well. To me that's the green light to blast lol. I've reached out to PSL to get more supplies for a 8 week blast. With my hernia surgery at the end of November I decided I would blast during October and November then use December as a health phase. In January I plan to start prep however I may still cruise during the first couple weeks. With the way this off season has gone and how well things are working together outside of dosage alone I've decided I don't need to go crazy high. I believe a moderate cycle along with continuing exactly what I'm doing now will get me to the goal of 250 with visible abs in the off season. I want to come in peeled at the absolute top of heavy weight class.

I am currently on my first week of a blast phase. I decided I could get in an 8 week blast right before my hernia surgery. I can then use the time after surgery for another health/cruise phase. I'll run that right into my prep for 2022. I reached out to PSL and they got my done quality products fast. Still the best gear vendor in my opinion. My blast consists of 750 mg weekly sust and 300 mg weekly eq, I'll also be taking 20 mg Aromasin EOD. I've also decided to be a little more aggressive on my progressions in weight. With everything being in balance currently its time to go balls to the wall for 8 weeks. Check the pics below for the best pics.

Nothing huge to update on. Last weekend my weight got up to 249 which is great my goal was 250 at a respectable leanness for off season. Looks like I might set a new goal for 260. I've been 250+ before but never this lean. Which i need to take some up date pics. I just purchased a new Estradiol test so I plan on doing that first week in November which will be around the middle of my blast so I'll get a good grasp on whether I need to make changes to estrogen control AI's. Other than that I'm doing my best to live the bodybuilder lifestyle while not neglecting my family and enjoying life.

Been a little time since my last update. Things have been busy. I accepted a promotion and my job so that had increased my responsibilities there. Then of course I have family stuff, however I can say I'm still on the wagon. I'm following my nutrition plan 90% or more and I'm progressing in the gym weekly. I'm still chasing 250 lbs. I've gotten up to 249 only to drop back down the next week. So I've been increasing food currently on training days I'm a little over 4k calories and on rest days I'm around 3300. I know I need to update the log with progress photos. I also recently got my estrogen checked while on cycle. I was not happy with the results. I believe I may be prone to high aromatizing. I was taking 20 mg Aromasin eod and my value came back as 114. So I've no jumped up to 20 mg ed. I see lots more estrogen tests in my future till I figure out what works best for me.

Since my lat update I had some ups and downs. I finally broke 250 but then within the week dealt with some headaches that caused me to miss a couple days training and eating my full meal set up. I'm currently in the last week of my blast and now 7 days from hernia surgery. I already know I'm going to be chomping at the bit to get back but I'm hoping I can enjoy the down time. I'll be doing to 200 mg of test a week during this period. I'll also drop my calories to around 2700 from the current 4000 mark. I'll do this mostly from taking out carbs. I still plan on walking as much a possible to keep activity up. Prep should start late January and over never been this lean to start a prep so I don't want to add a bunch of fat during my recovery.

http://imgur.com/a/kG48FJu

I'm 9 days post umbilical hernia surgery. I wouldn't say I'm going crazy but I'm definitely looking forward to getting back in the gym. I've adjusted a few things my nutrition is down to around 3200-3500 calories. I'm trying to keep carbs below 100. I'm using 200 mg weekly while out of the gym. I'm keeping some activity in, still getting 7-8k steps per day.

Once I'm ok to go full strength I'll be back to 4060 calories on training days, I'll bump up to 300 mg weekly and steps will stay consistent.

I've already began discussing prep with my coach so that has me motivated as well. Already setting up plans so I hopeful PSL will continue to sponsor me thru this prep. I really feel like this year will be my best physique yet. If we do end up with that result I'll most likely be heading to masters nationals to try for a pro card.

Happy new year to everyone. This is my last week being in off season mode. I'm excited and nervous for prep. I think I have the chance to have my best physique yet.

I got a shipment from the best gear vendor out there PSL. Touchdown didn't take very long either. I know they are currently on their yearly break. I'm looking forward to getting 1 more shipment in and I should have everything I need.

I'll be logging as much as I can without giving away too much of my coaches methods. I'll be working with Skip Hill who has helped lots of well known people in the industry. I believe Phil Viz learned a lot from him and Skip gave Daunte a platform for DC training.

I've included my touchdown and a physique update pic.

Interesting choice with EQ. I always figured deca would be the off-season go to. But I guess EQ can be just as effective since it makes you eat like a horse, right?

I’ll be interested in your log and glad you’re about to get back to the gym. I had hernia repair and the recoup was rough the first week.
