ASF,

It's been a little over two weeks now since I've been on really at all. Besides a few pm's here and there. Not saying all y'all noticed, but informing you I haven't been active.

There have been some major changes in my life recently. Some that I've taken heavily personally but have sort of played off lightly to the rest of the world. I started feeling pretty low energy a couple weeks ago, nothing alarming but went in to get a physical and they found more protein in my urine. My creatinine and potassium were elevated again, and my kidneys have begun to be more tender lately. Throughout this time I was preparing for a move as well. I lost quite a bit of money, and have been working off of fumes. Once I got moved in up here, I was prepping to leave for a military school which was going to be my main source of income until I got set up with finishing my degree and a new job. This has now been cancelled due to my labwork they pulled. I will need to see a nephrologist soon. This also means that I will need to stop my current cycle, and stop taking any oral compound or substance whatsoever. Anything to put stress on my kidneys and liver.

Also, icing on the cake, my girlfriend and I broke up this morning. It seems like my life took a 180 in the past couple weeks, and even though I know y'all are getting by just fine here without me, I couldn't be more sorry for my absence. It's been almost a year now on the forums and I feel like I have an obligation to my family here. I feel I have been failing as an active brother and member here, and as a rep.

As of today I will be focusing 100% on getting better physically which will include halting my cycle completely. I will be starting up work soon, focusing on myself. But, as of today, I will also be back here with you guys on the forums. As I said before I couldn't be more sorry for my absence but it seemed one thing happened right after another and put me in a hard spot.

Thanks ASF,
D

Should you be lifting with your kidneys like that?

Before you know it.. You will be in a better place and this will only be a memory. Lifes a fuckin bitch.. It's how you deal with this bitch that matters.

Talking things out is good therapy regardless of whether it feels like it at the time. Life takes twists and turns that's for sure. The one constant for me has always been the gym. Good luck and hopefully you get things on track soon.

sorry to hear that. everything happens for a reason. we are always here for your support.

give it time everythging will turn around again

Damn bro, of course I knew about the other stuff but the news about you and Nikki comes as a shock. Things changed that quickly since last night? I'm sorry to hear about this, man.

I can't speak for the potassium but you know I already told you the reason for your elevated creatinine levels, you are a bodybuilder and carry more muscle mass than the average man. The only way that I know of to drive these levels back down is to stop lifting weights and lose muscle mass. I hate the fact that you are dealing with military doctors because any civilian specialist worth anything would be able to validate this. I hope the nephrologist can get you squared away.

Keep your chin up, brother. As my grandfather used to tell me when I was going through a tough time, "this too, shall pass".

Sorry to hear bro. Life sucks some times. Been going thru some stuff myself. Hit me up if you need to talk.

Ouch, sorry to hear, brother. Get the kidneys going right and the rest will fall into place.

When it rains it poors man.... take care of number 1 first and dont worry bout the rest.

Damn hang in there brother ....things will get better :winkfinger:

Morning all, guys thanks so much for the support. Things are sorting themselves out how they should I'm making it all a positive thing. One step at a time from here just glad to be back at it.

Also I've been keeping it really light at the gym mostly high volume, still some time under tension stuff and light cardio. Enough to make me sweat well and increased my water.
