Came across this article I saved awhile back when I needed it..It's basic info with a few resources and I thought others may find it of use.. By no means is this list is complete but it gives you an idea whats out there in addition to encrypted email service to protect your privacy when you need it... and in light of General Petraeus' recent F up with Mrs. Broadwell thinkin they could hide their affair from others by saving their messages as drafts and both parties accessing the email account from remote locations....

Remember even the head of the CIA can be brought down by the information that one shares on the internet... Nice reminder to think about b4 you hit send next time..

If you are engaging in activities on the internet that are questionable or require some type of security and anonymity or just sitting @ Starbucks or McD's accessing their public WIFI you may want to check this out...

While looking more into VPN services I came accross the TOR project @ TORproject .org as well as the Guardian project @ guardianproject.info and have been using TOR now for a few weeks and I have to say I'm impressed...Downloaded the software for desktop after trying it out on my kindle for a few weeks....

You dont want to use Tor for forums or browsing the internet I will tell you that but VNPs are the bomb and having several with different servers different providers adds a little untracability.

Indeed. I second you. I've been using VPNs for a long time. Since the day I started it, I've tested many free and paid VPNs like Hotspot shield, ZENMATE, NORD, Express and many more. My biggest concern is IP Leakage and data security. That is the reason you cannot trust every VPN available.
