Wife and I going to NYC!!

Guys/ladies was wondering if any one could give me suggestions. I'm taking my wife to NYC in February for our anniversary. I suck at planning things, but I want to make this trip special. I want to hear about restaurants, places to visit and things to do. Thank you all

She loves history, museums and such. My plan is on our actual anniversary night I want to take her to a five star restaurant or what ever you would call them..Lol. she loves to shop. Art? She loves looking at things beautiful and remarkable. She likes classical things as well. Hope that helps..

here's what i would suggest...start your day at the MET (especially cuz they are currently showcasing an exhibition that most women would DROOL over)
    http://www.metmuseum.org/exhibitions.../jewels-by-jar

then dinner nearby...this would depend on what kind of food you like but obviously you will have a variety of choices in NYC
then finish the evening with some romantic ice skating at the Standard Hotel with some romantic hot chocolate...

If she likes shows, i'd also suggest taking her to see the lion king or wicked or something of that nature, because how often do you have that chance

and then maybe a night in times square to see the "touristy" stuff. take her in to Tiffany's because thats kind of something every lady wants to do...even if it's just to browse

yes but you can use ticketmaster for any NYC shows i think. there's also always phantom of the opera..and old but CLASSIC and if she's fan of the music, that show really is a must see.

almost forgot, call the hotel you are staying at, and ask for the concierge and ask him if there are any romantic restaurants he would suggest within walking distance of the hotel, or tell him you're trying to plan a romantic evening and they will help you ALOT free of charge. I think people forget hotels even offer those services anymore but they know the city so well, adn they realize we are out of towners!

Definitely plan on taking in a broadway show. 42nd Street is one my personal favorites.

Bro you need to do the night boat tour of the city it was awesome. The boat tours the city's skyline there's a great dinner and even has a small casino. Very romantic just sitting outside with a bottle of bubbly. Lots of friendly people you guys would have a great time. Dinner coat is a must, I'll try to dig up the info for you I went about 7 years ago
