Michelle Leek Arrested For Child Porn Offenses
Following a three-month investigation, officers arrested female bodybuilder Michelle Leek, a Whitby woman for child porn offences.
On Wednesday, November 6th, 2013, members of the Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Section of the Major Crime – Sexual Assault Unit, with the DRPS assistance of the E-Crimes Unit and Central West Division, executed a search warrant at a Whitby residence and arrested a female without incident.
Michelle Leek, age 36, of Guthrie Cres in Whitby is charged with: Possession of Child Pornography; Accessing Child Pornography and Making Child Pornography Available. The accused is being held for a bail hearing. Ms. Leek refers to herself as “Cindy Muscles” on several websites featuring numerous bodybuilding photos. Her bio on Wix.com says she was born in Oshawa and started bodybuilding at age 15.
The Crown has announced its intention to oppose her release. A bail hearing has not yet been scheduled.
The Provincial Strategy to Protect Children from Sexual Abuse and Exploitation on the Internet is comprised of the OPP Child Exploitation Section, 18 municipal police services, two Crown Attorney provincial coordinators and one victim services coordinator.
