When I said on the “same level” I meant from a reproduction standpoint because only one works from that perspective, I can see how that would come off as offensive if someone is gay so I apologize.
I actually spend pretty much every holiday with a married couple consisting of 2 married men in their late 50s and to be honest their generally my favorite people to hang out with at these gatherings because they’re just good dudes.
When I said shoving it down my throat I’m talking about some of the more recent ridiculous examples like that terrible “American Horror Stories” show, where every installment had like nothing but gay love and trannies and it was just way over the top. The profiteering and virtue signaling is what pisses me off, not even the trannies per se.
I’ve even encountered some people transitioning from gender to gender throughout the years and I have to say I couldn’t bring myself to feel anything but reverence and some level of pity for them because they’d obviously had they’re teeth kicked in emotionally by other people they’ve dealt with.
I’ve got not issues with anyone that’s trying to do them. I doubt gay people feel some type of way about straight people showings of affection because it’s so commonplace, but as a private person it’s make feel somewhat uncomfortable.
