For example,

I was known as an avid golfer and snowboarder all through high-school/college and into my mid 20s. I always worked at a golf course in the summer and a ski resort in the winter so I was always golfing/snowboarding for free several times a week. I got to be pretty good at both. For those who are golfers I was a 6 handicap at my best in college, and as far as snowboarding goes I would compete in small freestyle competitions here and there. I was good enough to hold my own, but never won anything because there were always pros or aspiring pros who would always dominate.

I still partake in these activities but obviously not as often and I am definitely not as good at them. With golf you have to play consistently or your game will decline considerably. I am now closer to a 20 handicap unfortunately. With snowboarding I stay out of the terrain park (jumps, rails, etc.) and stick to the groomed trails or the powder.

What about y'all? What else are you known for? Or what other passions do you have that define who you are?

I used play a mean guitar and had a good singing voice. Through my late teens and early 20’s I’d do open mics, and even had a friend help me record a 6 song album. (All done in one take, so it wasn’t exactly a studio album).

I was asked to play at all 4 of my grandparents and then my dads funeral which really soured me on playing or singing. Didn’t touch a guitar or sing for about 12 years…

In the past few years ive come back to it. But now I’ve got a career, wife, house and the whole thing. I play a couple times a week just to do it, but I really only sing when I’m alone.

Nice thread...

Ive played in many metal bands, most notably a speed-meal band in late 80's, early 90's where we signed with "New Renaissance Records" (only did 1 before we split up) and have opened and played with some bands like Death Angel, Nuclear Assault, Paul DiAnno, etc.
(They were pretty big bands at the time)... DiAnno sang on Maidens first 2 albums...

Our CD was re-released last year (30-yr anniversary, wow) and I still have the vinyl version from 1991...

My father owns a repossession company, I’ve worked for him since I was 13. It really becomes a obsession to be challenged with dangerous accounts or vehicles placed in such a manner it seems impossible to retrieve . I’d like to say I’m the best at doing so, because I learned from the best . Reading this back it sounds like some redneck shit ha I’m far from it

I was a competitive athlete since 4:. Skateboarding, surfing, Football, basketball, baseball, track, cross country, boxing, some rugby in college. I went to College with track and field scholarship and I have a gold medal at the State level.

It was not shocking to anyone that I eventually used steroids 😁😁😁💉💉💉

IML Gear Cream!
Technically a professional beach Volleyball player. Made it throw the qualifier tournament then got smoked in the first round. Still counts! Never got close again. Still play baseball in old man leagues

Former demolition derby driver... Still get the urge from time to time. If I find a Chrysler Imperial or a 03 and up ford to my liking I might go 1 more time.

Use to play tons of no limit Texas holdem. Live and online. Until a dickhead asshole politician piggybacked the online poker ban in with the port security bill. Still went to the casino from time to time.

Recently got into handguns and shooting.

Also known for having too many colognes lol. At least that's what some people think..
